Hello,

Hoping for some of your expert advice please!
I have been after a oval diamond that is at least 9mm tall, I was put off the last one I found as it was EGL certified and had some obvious inclusions!

what do you think of this one?

1.53ct D colour SI1 GIA

I asked James Allen if they could confirm it is eye clean and they replied ‘it appears eye clean’ - not sure what to make of that?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you x

not an expert here, but based on the pictures, they do look "eye clean" to my untrained eyes.

Thank you!

I'm not really a fan as far as the light return on this stone. Looks like you are willing to sacrifice light return to achieve a greater length? Just make
sure you find a happy medium. Ovals in general dont have the best light return so dont sacrifice too much (my opinion).

Edit...did you ask about the Strong Fluorescence in a D? Sometimes its an issue...pretty rare from what I've seen though...but ask!

@tyty333 your right I have based a lot of my emphasis on achieving the biggest measurements within my budget & need to remember the other important factors too!

I have asked about the SF and waiting for the supplier to come back to me.

It’s annoying that this stone is in a different country so unable to view it before committing to the purchase. In your opinion is this ‘eye clean’ and a ‘minimal’ bow tie?

thanks again x
