Stone details are from memory :
1.15ct
Table 59%
Depth 63.5%
Aspect ratio 1.64 (quite long/thin)
Using my beginners approach to AGA classification I thought it was perhaps 1B cut at v best. But a very visually impressive stone.
Now I'm purchasing in the UK from a bricks and mortar shop. I've offered £8K, which was *almost* accepted.
Now from my 'pricescope' calculation, and being generous with the cut quality, and allowing a good margin for them, I thoguht this was a good offer for the stone+platinum.
Am I way off with this price? Should I make a visit to Antwerp to get better prices?
