I'm pulling the trigger on this 1.492 F SI1 ct Canera European Round in anticipation of potentially upgrading my 1.05 G SI1 AVR.

Victor very quickly answered my questions and within an hour of my request, sent me a video comparison of two particular diamonds:

The 1.515ct diamond he said he "would characterize as more of a true OEC and the 1.492ct as a slightly more “Transitional OEC” with a slightly higher LGF percentage. Which one you like is a matter of preference but you do actually get the more chunky faceted appearance from the 1.515ct stone."
The F SI1's faceting definitely appeals to me more. Victor said "It is an eye clean diamond. It has a thin feather along the table that’s not really visible until it’s magnified." So I'm hoping this is eyeclean to me as well. If so, it'll hit all my criteria: E-G color, Ideal polish & symmetry, about the same carat weight as my Mom's diamond, and not too deep for an OEC. Wish me luck.
My current AVR has a medium culet so I'm curious what difference a large culet makes.
