Hi all,

I am struggling a bit in deciding between these three diamonds. It would be set in a 18k yellow gold 6 prong ring.

I read up a lot the past days but the final decision is hard, so if you have any deciding tips based on the info from James Allen I would appreciate it a lot.

Cheers

Have a look at this one. Nice and fiery with a beautiful Ideal-Scope, and completely clean clarity:

Thank you for the suggestion. I see the beauty in that one for sure. In my search it didn't pop up, because I used some parameters that this one is outside of. Especially the crown angle, and a bit because it is VS2. My knowledge is only from reading up via a number of websites.. You would suggest these over the other 3, despite these factors? If you can explain it would help me a lot!

Yes, I would suggest this over the other three for the following reasons:
1. The symmetry/arrows pattern appears better.
2. One of the others has a turquoise tint (known as blue nuance/light blue when it is notated on the grading report).
3. The higher crown angle and height will likely help with fire/colored light flashes.
4. This is an extremely clean VS2 with nothing clearly visible in the magnified views, so nothing will be visible to the naked eye, especially at this carat weight/spread...around 2 carats is when a VS2 should be targeted as minimum clarity, although there are plenty of clean 2+ carat lab grown diamonds at even SI1 clarity due to the type, size, and positioning of inclusions.

For example:

Once again thank you for your time. I will go for the diamond you suggested earlier, I really like it! Lots to learn on this subject so I appreciate you helping out.

You're very welcome.

Just realized that I made a slight goof-up in my previous post.

The 1.65ct was actually a recommendation for an eye-clean SI1 that may fit in your budget for you to consider.

The example for a 2ct eye-clean SI1 that I meant to post is this one (obviously not even close to the price realm, but I'm posting it for example purposes only)...my apology for my error.
