Received the following during my search for a cushion:

thoughts?! this vendor has THE setting that i have decided to move forward with... now is just finding THE stone!

cushions are hard to evaluate on #''s alone. have you seen them?

You can only choose rounds by the numbers with decent accuracy. Everything else really needs pictures!

sadly, no.

they are not in wf''s immediate inventory, but this is what they recommended to me.... i guess i have to go off stats alone, but at least there is a return policy... just would like input in order to try to increase my chances of success!

If they can call them in and photograph them, then fine. But I''d never go to the trouble and expense of having a stone sent to me that I had not seen a picture of, other than an ideal cut round.

I honestly would stick to stones vendors have in house. it could get pricy calling in stones only to find they don''t work. Goodoldgold has some already in house with pictures. also, Mark t is known around her as the cushion guy partly b/c he''s located in the diamond district and can eyeball many stones without having the shipping expenses attached. I just wouldn''t want to pay to call fancy''s in based on #''s if there are other options out there. just my .02

Personally for a cushion, I would call Mark at Engagement Rings Direct.

i already have mark on the search for me, but i also contacted whiteflash, and they got back to me much quicker, so i was trying to get a benchmark type of thing before mark got to me....


but, as im learning in this process, good things come to those who wait!!
