I'm looking at two settings and can't decide which one to set my stone in for an everyday ring. Please help me with your thoughts and concerns about them, any opinion's appreciated!

Background info: I have small hands (size 4). My stone is a very icy, greyish purplish blue lab sapphire.

The settings:

1 https://michellia.com/collections/m...velyn-vintage-classic-crown-ring-in-moonstone

2 https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/536...-ring-engagement?ref=user_profile&pro=1&frs=1

Please help! <3

Of the two, the etsy ring would be my choice. I don't care for the "ball" like metal poking out around the edge of the other
setting. Plus, it looks like the head of the stone was sort of plopped on the shank. Doesnt look very cohesive in my opinion.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so you may like the things that I don't like. As always, get the one that fulfils your vision.

Can we see your stone?
Is it a calibrated size?

before you jump on either of the two settings you linked
I’d be looking at stock stuller settings or scrolling thru DanielM’s Instagram page to see if anything there caught your eye.

I have no experience with either of the companies you linked. They just don’t look very solidly done - to my eye.

As for looking too large on your hand - that’s subjective. I wouldn’t go for a high set ring, though.
