I'm hoping to get your opinion on whether I should wear my wedding band with my ering. The ering is an upgrade and has a double band. Now I'm not sure what to do with my wb which is a channel set. I've posted tons of pics.. help! I apologize for the dry hands.. winter is a coming oh and don't you love the bathroom background :wink2: what can I say it's the best place for lighting.

Question to Admin - should this thread be moved to Rocky talky?

I think it's pretty either way! I'm not a matchy matchy person anyway so I like the band with it. Very pretty ring

No band. Or, get a nice pave band.

Not to be snarky, but the diamonds in your new e-ring are better quality than the ones in your wb it appears, and I can see a contrast between the two :blackeye: I would wear either on its own depending on your mood!

Appearance wise, I like it without the wedding band. The E-ring alone already looks like you have a w-band on.

Hundred percent without a wedding band. It is just not the right band for the ring. I would suggest a thin delicate pave band as well. It looks FAB without the band btw.

I'm pretty sure this is in the right place as she isn't asking questions about the diamond themselves just the rings ans how they look together....

i agree i like it without the wedding band. The wedding band is a very classic style while the your beautiful e-ring is a little more modern. Maybe is you had you channel set w-band shaved down so there wasn't so much metal showing it would fit a little bit better...but really your ring is amazing and one of the coolest designs I have seen that baby can stand all by itself!

Definitely by itself! I see that as a stand alone ring- it is beautiful!

I like the e-ring by itself too!!!

The cheese... and that pretty ring ... stand alone. (Wear your wedding band on your right hand or re-set the stones in a pendant?)

thanks everyone for the response.. I thought as much but wondered what I should do for a wb and how to use my old wb. I'm exploring pendant options for the diamonds and will inquire whether they can use the same metal more for sentimental values.

Dreamer.. you made me smile. I also thought the same thing and that the diamonds on my wb were significantly more yellow than the ering.

Now... off to research for eternity bands :naughty:

I like it by itself. :)

me too!

I think it looks good either way...I think if/when you want some added bling, wear your wedding band. Perhaps skip it for
everyday wear?

can you move the band to your right hand? I don't like it with the band, then again I'm a very matchy kind of person

I'm now wearing it on my right hand.. fortunately it fits!! I quite like it although it's something I need to get used to. I don't regularly wear a ring on RH. If I were to wear a band with the ering what do you think of thin eternity ring vs thin plain band.. almost like a spacer

Without, I think it would look best with a thin eternity band.

I like it on its own! It's a great standalone ring.

I would wear the wband on my RH and wear your ering alone. It is gorgeous on its own and it looks like 2 bands.

I like the idea of a thin eternity, though I'd worry about it eating into your lovely Ering if you wear it often without a spacer - but then, I think eternity + spacer + busier Ering = too much, so all in all my vote is for a plain band 8)

Ditto. Looks very nice that way.

I don't think a channel set band is a good compliment to your new e-ring setting. I'd buy a nice 2mm shared prong band and a small plain band to put between them.

dd, you have great eye sight! I actually had to go back to the first pictures to see that the colors of the diamonds are not exactly the same.

I think that it definitely looks best alone-- or at least not with that particular wedding band. I agree that a very thin, dainty pave band would complement the ring better.

I'm in the "by itself" crowd!

I like it alone best. I'd move the WB to the other hand. It's a lovely, modern and unique setting. Very pretty! It is enough of a statement piece alone IMO.

Lol, your bathroom is my bathroom's twin- same slate, same (awesome!) bathtub. Good taste ya got there

I like it better without the band. I think they are both a little too chunky looking to wear them together... Beautiful ring by the way! :wink2:

This ring almost gives the illusion of a band. On the other hand, I would not forgo adding any extra "flash" to your ring, I just don't think that your channel set half-band is the right band for your new ring.

Try on other styles and see what you feel compliments your ring (if any).

Because of the asymmetrical band, I think it already looks like it could be two perfectly fit rings. I vote go it alone. Very pretty!
