opinions on WF/JA

WF has the setting that I''m most drawn to, but just does not have any stones within the parameters and budget that I am looking for right now (I have observed several that have been purchased in the last month or so, which I suppose is to be expected this time of year).

I would prefer to get the stone and setting from WF, but I''m curious about when new stones might be added to the inventory.

On the other hand, JA has several stones that are exactly what I''m looking for. What would you think about purchasing a stone from JA and having it sent to WF to be set? How much do you think this would cost? and how much hassle would it be?

Other options I suppose would be to get a simple tiff style setting from JA, settle for a smaller WF diamond, or just wait.

What do you think?

If you are interested in WF ACA stones, just give them a call, they can tell you when the stones will come and probably look out for a stone that meet you specifications. They have stones that are picked up by customers before it even reaches the online database.

What you need to do is contact them and ask them, they might have an idea of what is coming in so that is what I would do. You would need to ask WF concerning having the diamond set if you purchased from JA, they are friendly folks and should be able to answer your questions.

I believe WF can keep an eye out for a particular combination that you are looking for. They''ve said before that sometimes stones get sold before they get them photographed and on line.

My personal experience is similar.

I found a stone from Wink, but the setting is from Whiteflash. I had Wink send the stone directly to WF to have it set, to save time so I can have it for Xmas. I got an update and it will be here on Wednesday Morning!!

WF will charge a $70 setting fee because you didn''t buy the stone from them, kinds sucks.

Call and talk to Lesley at WF, she helped me and is a pleasure to work with.
