I posted earlier today about some less-than-stellar diamond earrings I bought at a Black Friday sale at my local mall jewelry store: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/diamond-stud-earrings-bought-from-mall-jewerly-store.217712/

I've been looking around for replacements after I return these, and I wanted to get opinions on these True Hearts ideal diamonds from James Allen (set in 18k Martini backs): https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/diamond-stud-earrings-bought-from-mall-jewerly-store.217712/

I was also looking at Brian Gavin Signature ideal diamonds, like these:
http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamond_pair_comparisions/compared_diamond_details/CAGS-104080725137/CAGS-104080725139

It seems that, on the whole, the Brian Gavin diamonds I have looked at have a better true "hearts and arrows" effect than the comparable diamonds from James Allen - is this just coincidence or is that a fair assessment?

The James Allen and BGD stones are both very nice.

You can talk to JA or BGD and ask them how nicely the stones match up and would they make a good set for earrings.
