Opinions of this stone...please!

Hello everyone,

I am looking for the perfect diamond for a very special person. I have been searching and initially was wanting a 1.5ct but I have since adjusted my criteria to as low as a 1.30ct.

I am having the setting custom made at a local jeweler. Does anyone have any experience of buying a diomond online and having it set locally? If so, did you have any trouble as far as maintenance and such on the ring?

Nice stone. I don't think anyone on here would ever steer you away from a WF ACA. They're super ideal and among the very best out there.
Only suggestion would be to drop to a WF certified eye clean SI1 and go up in size a touch - maybe get you closer to that 1.5 mark.
You're not in a bad place though with a really nice 1.39

Thanks! Yea, she does have rather small hands so I'm thinking the 1.5 may not be necessary to still look rather large. WF doesn't have anything currently between 1.39 and 1.64 that fit my eye. Anybody see anything else out there I might be missing?

Any experience having an online diamond set locally?

If I were in your position, I would look at this possible alternative, for the same amount of money:

1.4ct, F, SI1 (same size as the WF stone, but 2 color grades better)
