I'm being offered this diamond by a reputable online seller. Although I have researched quite a lot and can make sense of GIA reports and understand pavilion and crown angles, I have no idea how to judge a diamond by its picture, so I would like your help. The picture is attached and the GIA report is as follows.

Round Brilliant
0,45ct
4.92x4.94x3.01
Color H
Clarity VS2
Cut Excellent
Polish V.Good
Symmetry Excellent
Fluorescence None
Table 58%
Depth 61.1%
Crown Angle 34.5
Pavilion Angle 40.8
Girdle Medium to Slightly Thick 3.5%
Star 55%
Lower Half 75%

Its HCA score is 1.4 TIC, All excellent with a very good spread.

Please let me know your comments and suggestions.

Looks great. Can they get you an idealscope image?

Ideal Scope image not available.

So how do you come to the conclusion that the diamond looks great? What should I look for in a diamond picture?

While I like a smaller table, the crown and pavilion angles are great together so you'll get great light return and the patterning looks great.
