Opinion on Oval from Distinctive Gems

Hi, wonder if I could get a real honest opinion, you too seem to know a lot about all this diamond stuff! I’m trying to decide on a setting for my Elyque, would you give me feedback if I sent you a couple of pics on ideas I have for the Elyque?

Size is awesome. Looks great on you. Honestly, I totally agree with @Starfacet ... I love it set exactly as it is. I would get a blingy band to wear with it if you want some “oomph”. It’s a definitive “wow”!!! Congrats.

Thanks! The final setting will look pretty similar – but in 18K yellow gold.

I’m glad you went with the 3.34ct - it is a stunning stone! Looks beautiful and big without being too big. I also like the idea of a simple and delicate setting (like the one it’s currently in) to highlight the stone. If your fiancée likes you can get 1 or 2 pave bands to stack (as in for the wedding band - I love the idea of sandwiching the ring in 2 micropave bands for example!)
