Opinion on EOC - too good to be true?

Got the idea to purchase this stone, and reset it into a custom ring. Can anyone please tell me if this is a good stone and purchase? I read that it's best to select an OEC diamond based on what's pleasing to the eye, so I am concerned that this deal is too good to be true. Thank you for your time.

I've never heard of that grading lab, so how accurate or trustworthy is their opinion?
How about this GIA certed OEC 1.41, K, VVS with good proportions, from a known and trusted jeweler?

I agree that checking out known vendors like OWD and Sako is much safer than going with IDNID (which is really just a crap shoot if there isn't a trustworthy certificate).
