I will find out - Thank you very much for your response!

A HCA score of less than 2 means that it warrants consideration but a lower score does not mean that it is better than a higher score. At this point, you can pick whichever one appeals to you more in person or select it by ASET imaging.

Thank you very much for your response!
I am not knowledgeable on diamonds (besides reading these posts) so I really appreciate your input.

Do you think "Diamond 2" will sparkle and be as brilliant as "Diamond 1" since it has a low crown angle 12.5 or see any concern with a wide 59 table?

Depth % 59.8
Table % 59
Crown Angle 32
Pavilion Angle 40.8
Crown % 12.5

Thanks again!!!

A 60/60 style diamond has its own appeal. It will appear to have more brilliance (white sparkle) than fire (coloured sparkle) compared to the higher crown + smaller table style when the two are compared side by side. That said, I have noticed that pricing for 60/60 is also typically slightly less than the other style.

I would not buy a diamond with a 32 crown angle. On the other hand, the crown angle on the other is very high, and that stone really needs an ASET image to know if there is leakage. 34-35 crown angle with 40.6-41.0 pavilion angle is a safer range (table 54-58, depth 60-62.3) if you have to buy without light return images.

I am trying to request an ASET image.
Could you please tell me what effect the high 36 crown may have?

Thanks again!

The second stone is a "60/60" stone - https://www.pricescope.com/wiki/diamonds/60-60-proportioned-diamond

60/60's tend to have a little different look to them - less fire (colored light return) and proportionally more white light return. Ideally you'd want a nice balance between the 2. But... sometimes 60/60's tend to face up a little larger for their carat weight, and some people do prefer the white light return of that style.

Have you seen these 2 stones in person? Did either of them speak to you?

I'd second the recommendation to look around, especially at stones that do have light performance images. For the carat weight you are looking at and the amount of money it will cost I'd want the cream of the crop cut.

Thank you very much for the advice! Everybody's feedback is really helpful.
Unfortunately I have not seen them in person...

Do you think Diamond 1 specs look good? - They are quite different than Diamond 2 (60/60) with the exception of width.
