Thanks everyone! I was hoping it would ship today but maybe tomorrow. Not sure how long it takes to do the finish on it and he was going to do that today. I'm excited to show it to gramma...seeing as how she gave the opal to me in ohhhh 2008 I think?

He did satin finish on a rig for me it was lovely. I'm sure yours will be as well, nice of him to get a quick turn around for you.

Unfortunately I do not have any addresses for chain necklaces. I would go to town first anyway to see what size fits best with your pendant and your own preferences.

Try ottofrei.com or riogrande.com. They are jeweler's suppliers and have pretty good prices.

If you get it on Etsy, read the description very, very carefully. Sometimes, the titles and descriptions are misleading.

Got it today! For now David just has it on the silver snake chain it was on originally. I've only seen it in the dark of the nap room so far haha-have to wait until kids are gone and then I will be able to see it better. I had JD bring it down to me at work.
