I have travelled alone on a couple of long flights before, and it was fine - I was so nervous, but it was a good experience. Has your other diamond gone back already? I can't wait for you to get the new one!!!

I know there are or were some...You could have a great GTG and there are tons of good places for eaties there from what I understand!

I hope someone this side of the pond might be up for it! I will keep my fingers crossed, I would have loved to go with you, but we have just had some news which means Hubby may have to shoot off at very short notice, so I will have to stay put for the time being. I wish I could have gone with you!

I am woman hear me roar and all that. My friend has nerves when she flies so she went to her doctor and got a little prescription for a couple of anti-anxiety pills and she takes them right before she flies and is fine. I don''t normally condone medications unless absolutely required, but in the name of diamonds I''m all for it

I''m sorry if I have missed it somewhere else, but what ring size are you? It will look seriously big on your finger, believe me - my bf (or should I say fiance!!) proposed to me last week and I am now the very lucky owner of a beautiful J 1.76 from Whiteflash''s expert selection and I am in love!

My finger is a UK size K1/2 (US size 5 3/ and I can''t stop looking at it thinking how huge it is, like you I keep thinking people will think its a fake

I vote you go to Whiteflash, what a lovely holiday if you were able to take your daughter, a real girly break!

I love the new upgrade from WF. I went to Houston with my 16 year old son last year and I stopped in at WF. It was nice meeting the folks there and seeing all they had to show. We had an event to attend so we spent most of our time indoors but I really enjoyed spending the time with just the 2 of us. I hope you and your daughter go. It''d be a fun adventure for both of you.

I have to add that I just recently purchased a small AGS 0 stone for my daughter and WF put it into a bezel pendant. It''s a birthday gift and I''ll post it after I give it to her. It''s so pretty. Just something to keep in mind...I mean since you''ll already be there...
