I have a 1.03 just now. I was going to get a new setting. I wanted one that would give me a bit more finger coverage. Then once I got the quotes back, it was almost as much as upgrading.

But I mean it this time.... after this - no more upgrading!

Oh by all means I think it is better to upgrade the diamond as opposed to the setting!!! That stone will be huge compared to the one you now have, so I can''t imagine needing to upgrade again!

That is a gorgeous stone, perfect for an upgrade. I really love how many upgrades are bigger in size, better (or equal) in cut and lower in color and clarity. It''s amazing how the cut makes all the difference whereas some little tiny fleck of carbon seems irrelevant. I am a firm believer in warmer colors and eye-clean S1s!

Thankyou! I don't know when I will get it. I have to send mine back for regrading which takes a little while. Then I have to decide whether to keep my setting (if its possible) or get a new one. It might take some time lol!

I agree! It seems like yesterday that I was trying to get you to buy something bigger, maybe a 1 carat instead of the .72. Now your ring is going to be bigger than mine! Mine is only 1.67 carats!

I honestly think that my new diamond will be big enough. Nobody has big diamonds where I live and they will probably think its fake!
