I like it! Just make sure the seller has a return policy just in the rare case it wasn't for you, and you should be covered.

Looks promising, is it an in house diamond or would they have to call it in?

They just got it in and will be taking pics. They sent me this one, which is a horrible pic, but at least gives you an idea.

So which one do you think is better? the higher ct weight or the higher dimensions?

Actually I like the shape and faceting of this one also, more pics would be good if you can get them.

This is a WF picture???

The first stone looks fab, but hard to tell with the second one so far.

I think it must be from the supplier KC - it doesn''t look like the usual WF set up.

Im not too crazy about the WF one. You can see the I color and its not as square as I like (the shape of the first diamond is more what Im looking for).

The first diamond (1.71) has a better color, clarity, and weight. I dont think .23mm size difference will really make a difference.

What do you all think?

I still prefer the pattern of second one, but I must admit light return isn''t as good as in first one.
Too much leakage.

This is actually the one that I saw in person and really loved. The only reason I didn't get it is because it was too square looking for me and I wanted a more cushion shaped cushion...

ETA: It faces up Very bright and looks bigger than my 1.72

I just got the 1.71 in the mail. Looks AMAZING! I tried taking pictures, but I only have a point and shoot camera and I couldnt get it to focus right. Im going to try again later today, and I will be getting it appraised tomorrow to make sure everything checks out ok. Looks like I finally got a winner!! :) now for the setting...

Im now working on the setting, a custom one from WF. Im trying to decide whether to use 1/2 pointers or 1 pointers for the halo and shank diamonds. The jeweler says 1/2 pointers, but Im thinking that would be way too small. I know its a very small difference between the two, but I just feel the 1 pointers would be better. I am trying to make the ring simple and elegant, but I still feel the 1 pointers will achieve that. Im trying to make it similar to the tiffanys legacy cushion. Any advice???
