On Wednesdays We Wear Pink (show me your pink jewels)

i cant remember if this subforum is allowed pearls ?
but its Wednesday and i remembered so i have my lovely large pink freshies on, gifted to me by a lovely PSer (the one who has pearls to wear with her PJs)

this is only the second time ive worn pearls since the skin infection on the back of my hair is healing, but all seems good back there, i dont want to have to start a thread how to get blood stains off pearls

nope, no pearls here
so someone else needs to post their pink for me
im sure im still allowed to talk, just not show

i should have worn my jet and pink quartz
i just dont have much pink !

Trying to revive our thread
No pictures as they pearls
But wearing my pink freshies today.
I really love them

I bought this unheated pinkish ruby recently. I wore it on ring tweezers to see how it would look. One of my friends liked it and offered to buy it… should I sell? It is hard to find larger unheated rubies nowadays. This one is 3.5 ct, from Mozambique. I bought it because it doesn’t have that brown tinge. It fluoresces so it looks more pinkish in bright light..IMG_6231.jpegIMG_6227.jpeg

The reds and pinks are so difficult to find these days……..

It’s beautiful! Do you have reservations?

Thanks for asking @mellowyellowgirl . Just a bit unsure… So far, all my rubies have been Burmese except one from Tanzania that is nice and red under all conditions. This is the first Mozambique ruby I have bought and I’m still trying to figure out how it behaves =)2 and how to set it.

I vote NO to selling!! It is so glowy and pretty!! You two are still dating. Give this relationship a chance to be long term!

It's Wednesday, and my c. 1950s star ruby just arrived!

(I know, it's pink, so you could argue it's a star sapphire, not a star ruby. But for some reason, people call things star rubies that they would call pink sapphires without the stars.)
