Old cut pears three stone ring made by SK

Waaaaaay back in December my wonderful hubby surprised me with the center stone of this ring. 2.56c antique pear. (GIA K VS1) After the holidays I started trying to come up with setting ideas. Completely on a whim, I reached out to some of the old cut diamond vendors wondering if I'd be able to make a three stone. Amazingly Adam actually had a pair of antique pears! I worked with someone locally for a bit and we decided on a design. After I waited seven weeks just to get a quote I decided to contact some other vendors. I emailed with SK and LM and ultimately chose SK. Took a quick trip to the city, talked about some design ideas and dropped my stones off. Steven thought I had had the side stones cut to match since they went so well with my center.


It arrived today! I love it! And I loved SK. I'm already thinking about what to do next with him

I'm a pear girl and I'm always so interested in proportions and cut etc. with a slightly chubby shape tapered to a very clean point but your ring........ wowza baby! It just opened a whole new area of interest for this pear girl! I'm going to start looking for old cut and antique cut pears. Your stones and your ring is beautiful!!!!! The Titanic ring certainly came up when I was trying to figure out what I liked. The rounds on the side just always felt funny to me though. But I definitely liked the milgrain bezels! I knew I wanted each stone to have its own bezel and I wanted the ring to be down low and comfortable. Steven did all the rest and I adore it!
