You don't actually have to buy it to reserve it online. I have reserved stones on WF before and you don't put in payment information since many people pay by wire anyway. I just put a note that says I am reserving it and will speak with a representative tomorrow.

I don't think the price goes away when it is on reserve. I think it's only when the diamond is sold. I know when I have reserved stones, I have a countdown clock that shows me how long I have left on reserve, and I believe the price remains visible until you actually commit to buy and pay. I think her original stone on reserve was still showing the price.

Sounds like you have lots of good options. Nice to see another person here on PS who is looking for smaller stones.

I do agree that you should consider a setting that tapers toward the diamond.
