Yes, probably, but this is my last one I think unless someone can come up with something close to an 8x8 mm cushion for my empty LOGR! Hint Hint Mr. Flanigan!!Date: 3/12/2009 7:51:59 PM

Oh... such a array of different lavenders/purples and pinks... Love it! So, should I call you Malaya lover instead??![]()
Thanks IK. My oval is more of a coral pink and is lighter. This one is more of a truer pink, but it's still an orange pink. It's not like a pure bubble gum pink. It rather looks more like an umbalite in the pictures I took, but it has more orange than an umbalite, and it's lighter.Date: 3/12/2009 8:19:19 PM

Another one!!! It's very pretty. Less peach you say? Still, it looks great. These malayas are such a pleasing shade of pink.

I wanted a Barry round, and this was the last round left in his last drop that interested me. I''m really pleased, and I have a white gold setting for it already. This one is definitely more pink than my oval, but I think it still has a enough orange in there to classify it as a true Malaya. It just isn''t showing up as much in the photos.
Oh I hope he has more - I really think these are gorgeous stones, and I''d like to see more PS''ers grab ''em. Perhaps Gene has some as well.Date: 3/12/2009 8:31:33 PM

It''s pretty and you were smart to grab it because I don''t think he has anymore. Right now at least. He might still have some rough he hasn''t cut yet.
What type of setting is this one going into?
Thanks BEG - I''ve been jealous of your JW tourmaline for a long time - so I guess we''re even - ha!!Date: 3/12/2009 8:48:42 PM

Ooh I''m so jealous you got another Malaya - and that one to boot! It''s lovely. I''m glad you''re setting it in a solitaire - it''s going to be gorgeous!
Gorgeous, and that''s more like an 18K rose gold - so a more subdued color.Date: 3/12/2009 9:46:03 PM

So in honour of everyone''s Malaya, here''s a little setting I found from Krikawa that I think will set the Malayas off very nicely.

If that''s rose gold and the colour could be guaranteed, I''d have it for my tourmaline project in a heart beat!Date: 3/12/2009 9:49:59 PM
