Ooh lucky you! I''ve not been to M&S for ages. I have been trying to avoid the cakes and biscuits!!

Now I am really going to lower the tone... has anyone drained their dogs anal sacs? Oh my word. Its like the worst smell in the world. And the poor dog goes through anxiety when you draw near with the cotton wool and gloves.... fear when you actually drain them.... and then total indignation that you even did that to their butt.

I will actually pay £28 just to have the vet drain them.

NO!!!! My dog hates having a bath and his teeth brushed. I cannot imagine if we did THAT to him! Oh the violation! I would have the vet do it, too. Our big guy doesn''t seem to need the "procedure". OMG, Maisie - you made me GAG with that description!!!!!!!

Hahaha - I am dying laughing. DD asked what was so funny! "Just a little fun on the diamond forum." I told her.

Linda - Well, I WAS wanting a snuggly, small dog until Maisie started in with all of this anal gland talk.

I''ll take my massive guy that outweighs me by 10 - 15 lbs. and takes huge poops that clean out his anal glands. *shudders again*.

My dog toots and then looks at us like WE did it. You can see him thinking, "These humans are so disgusting."

Miranda: OMG that is toooooooooooo funny. Mazie has done that also. She looks around like "who did that", or she will look at us. Dogs are so darn funny

Well, when she was a baby, I put her in a vase. She looked like a giant ice cream sundae.

haha!! Its just the way you said it!!

Well if you smell a nasty smell coming from its nether regions and they are scooting a lot, it means their glands are blocked and need squeezing. I don''t think you need to do it in labs, it tends to be smaller dogs. Not sure why.

ha ha ha ha. They really crack me up when they do that. Mazie does that to us in the morning. Eats her breakfast, jumps on my lap, BURPS, then jumps down. I swear, she does it on purpose.
