Hi gorgeous.

I searched through 6 pages... hoping to see... your favorite jewelry pieces! Once you get your new Leon, you should post your "collection." I am sure it rocks!

Thanks, Miranda. Any more chimping incidents? I did buy a necklace, but I lost it on the plane.

That''s awful! Did you have it on and it came off or broke off? Or was it in a shopping bag?

I do that so frequently with packages on flights. I have been chased by people telling me, "Uh, is this bag yours?" Yeah. I am not allowed to shop at duty-free unless I have someone else carrying the bag. Perfumes, scarves, camera, handbag, chocolates, ALL GONE... Sadly the things that were returned where just mostly shotglasses, figurines and stationery...

I had it on, but it came off. My neighbour said I was tossing and turning in my sleep.

Wow, I did! They also gave us an extra dessert course and pressies.

Re: Food in Italy
We had lots of gelato, of course. We did well in Capri and Florence, but struck out in Rome. The biggest surprise was the Italian restaurant onboard. It was so good that I''d back the chef in opening a restaurant here if I had the capital! Oh, the gnocchi!

Hey Miss Harriet! How have you been??? I haven''t seen you around a lot lately. Then again, I haven''t been around too much lately
26.gif
so maybe that''s the problem.

Hello, Miss M! I''m well, thanks for asking. I''ve just been busy at work. What about you? How''s the brood? Are the renovations done?

Busy at work is always a good thing! The brood is doing well - No chimps, anyway. Grandma and Grandpa are out for a Thanksgiving visit so that gives DH and I some freedom. After TG we''re off to LA for the weekend. No, the neverending house/yard project is at a standstill. Darn city permits! It''s a very long, boring story and I won''t clutter up your thread with the details. We will resume construction after the 26th. It should be all be complete by Christmas...Hurry, find some wood to knock on. Speaking of projects, did you ever decide what to do with your luscious emerald? Or any of your other colored beauties?

Harriet... the prodigal poster returns.

I am thinking of walking around Bergdorf... know anyone who can lend me some gems to rock???
31.gif

By the way, I wish I popped by your office. I was sort of in the area. By the way, Cartier''s holiday display...? Anyone??? It was just so pretty! I felt like I dropped into this pretty little forest of glittering lights and tinkling music...
30.gif
Oh then I LEFT the store and saw the display... LOL

But seriously, you have a Leon Addiction. I think you are paying his bills. He called me yesterday telling me to push you to buy a lovely Kashmir sapphire for a ring so he can buy a new car. I think he wants a Mercedes, so make that a ring with earrings...

Addict.

Hey H,

What was the restaurant in Rome that knocked your socks off?

I forgot, did you go to Venezia or Milano? Any recommendations?

By Christmas? The end''s in sight then. No, no decision on the emerald. I''ve handed it over to Leon, which is a start. As for the other stones, I''ve plopped a few pairs into martini settings. Enjoy your weekend!

Well, whatever you do with the emerald it will be gorgeous I''m sure. I can''t wait to see the finished product.

One of Leon''s suggestions is to set it in a ring with a yellow diamond halo and a graduated white diamond shank.

HI, Harrriet! I am glad to hear the emerald went to Leon! But I''d keep it in all white diamonds...classic!
