I''ve never met anyone that doesn''t like it! Either I haven''t been exposed to many people or you guys have met many LIARS!!!!!!

I actually gave someone a box of chocolates and they said they would give it to their wife (hubby''s coworker). I felt bad but I guess that was good news for his wife since he hated the stuff. One of my coworkers told me they didn''t like chocolate and I didn''t start liking it until I was in my teens. As a kid I HATED it; crazy, now to think of it. hehehe
Have you had See''s? Or had you ever had See''s as a child? Maybe it was just the Whittman''s you hated. I cannot believe EVERYBODY doesn''t LOVE chocolate!

I love See''s; in fact that is my dad''s favorite. I think kids like the junk candy like runts and gummy worms (very sugary stuff). Does your little girl like chocolate? Gosh, all this chocolate and Nutella talk is making me hungry for the stuff. Nutella is a hazelnut chocolate spread from Italy (I think). It is super yummy. I never buy the stuff because I have no self control.

You have to try it; it is wicked delicious!!!

Well, the house isn''t ON the water. It''s 6 minutes to the sand (with green lights
28.gif
). I don''t like to be too close to the water. Even though it''s a quaint little beach town, some of the folks there spook me.

I had 2 pieces of cake yesterday! mmmmmmmmmmmmmm Cake at my cousin''s baby shower in the early afternoon and carrot cake for my dad''s b-day party in the evening. Yummmmmmy! We should start a cake lovers thread! None of those ''other'' non-cake people allowed.
What''s wrong with the water folks?
What''s wrong with the cake haters?
Any chocolate haters? Out yourselves!
Don''t be silly! Nobody hates chocolate!
You ladies are a crack-up! I love hearing all your stories!

My mom gave me a jar of Nutella awhile back, but I''ve never tried it, so I''m off to go hunt it down in my cupboard...will report back later!

Also, my best friend''s dad is allergic to chocolate...guess who baked him cookies w/loads of chocolate chips?!!?
23.gif
He asked if I was trying to kill him!!!
14.gif
Psssssst.....I''ve never tried Nutella either! DH just got home from Trader Joe''s, too. I''ll get some next time. Maybe I shouldn''t risk it. I already have stomach troubles. Will they be worse after I develop a Nutella addiction? What is it? Is it peanut butter?
Oh, Miranda, I have absolutely NOOO idea! I don''t know if I can handle being addicted to a whole new food group that my stomach will also rebel against, but I''m willing to give it a whirl!

I LOVE Trader Joe''s...their food is addictive, too!

Harriet,
eat lots of Gelato for me in Italy; please.

Sees are awesome, remember I am a Cali girl so I do admit a fondness. All the fancy ones are fine, but good old Sees is really great.

Yes, Skippy, my little one loves chocolate! I''m so glad we can threadjack Harriet''s thread to talk about chocolate!

If you can get to Dulles, I think they have a small See''s kiosk there!

Harleigh, I am in Philly now but grew up and lived most of my life in Los Angeles. I have ordered Sees on line (BAD for the waistline) and love it, but the kiosks tend not to have all my favorites, though I appreciate the help (my bum does not though!!)

Only if you eat nothing else. It''s a chocolate-hazelnut spread.

MIRANDA!!!!!!!! I found the jar...actually still have spoon in it, if that tells you anything!

It says, and I quote, "Nutella is a delicious hazelnut spread that blends fresh hazelnuts, skim milk and a hint of cocoa, for a taste your whole family will love." Along with that is the statement, "Ingredients so good, Nutella even makes bread happy!"

It also says, "Nutella is great on...
*bread
*toast
*English muffins
*crackers
*breadsticks
*croissants
*just about anything!"

I don''t know if it''s originally from Italy like Skippy said, but my jar says it''s made in the good ''ol USofA, in Somerset, NJ.

Just thought I would give you the factual information...but the ladies are right, YUMMMMMY!!!

LoL diamondfan...I am in No. Cal up past Sacramento...there''s a See''s right up the street, one at each mall, and it kills me! Right along with the Jelly Belly store, Jamba Juice, etc... Maybe I should consider moving to the outskirts of town!

It won''t be bad. Mine''s bad because I went through a phase of extreme stress and not eating.

Absolutely!

Harriet, I have had Maison''s Chocolate, although this Pierre gentleman is a newcomer to my belly...I like...

Must. Try. New. Chocolate....

Serious question now. How do you feel about Teuscher? It''s literally located on my lap here in Rockefeller, so I am partial...

I grew up with Teuschers, Kron, Godiva, etc, in Beverly Hills. I like it all, but Sees is really my favorite overall, though Kron had the most incredible truffles ever. I am not a dark chocolate lover in heavy amounts so a lot of the European chocolate is simply too strong and bitter for me...
