Do I like Nutella? I eat it straight from the jar. I eat it on crepes with strawberries, on raisin pecan toast, on white bread. Don''t you think it would make good frosting?

If you have ever been to La Bonne Soupe it has amazing savory crepes and excellent french. I have lived there for the past 8 years. LOVE it.

I have an idea!!! I think I may need to join you on your hike up Fifth. I need an arm work-out, so I will do the pushing of people ahead of you and clear the path for your hiking. That way my arms will be buff, and you will get a clear path to walk up.

Little known fact: Randomly decided to take cake decorating classes with my mother YEARS ago and I am 4th level certified Wilton Cake Decorator. (Not on my CV though...)

I almost had a heart attack when I heard. I was in the store buying some (because of course they put crack in it) and the lady told me that soon they would close the store for a bit. Almost died at the counter. Oddly I am surviving off the beggings of my friends who hit the dutyfree and the shops whereever they travel. I am dry again though.

I have been staving off the hunger with Neuhaus (besides Teuscher right up the block), which I love, but oddly am appreciating Max Brenner...? I have never been there up until this summer. I am now liking their truffles with rum which were a gift from a friend. A wonderful chocolate loving friend... *happy sigh*

They have a place on Union Square. I have yet to go. I will...

Try La Maison du Chocolat and Pierre Marcolini. Their chocolate puts Fauchon''s to shame! I''m really missing Fauchon''s pastries though. They say the will be re-opening, but i don''t believe them. The pastry chef has started his own macaron and madeleine business.

I actually gave someone a box of chocolates and they said they would give it to their wife (hubby''s coworker). I felt bad but I guess that was good news for his wife since he hated the stuff. One of my coworkers told me they didn''t like chocolate and I didn''t start liking it until I was in my teens. As a kid I HATED it; crazy, now to think of it. hehehe
