#JOTW Oh happy day! My new 4.61 bangle is hereeeeee

Hello fellow Press! One of my custom made bangles has finally landed! Hooray!! I have been saving for these babies since January of 2019! Working overtime, teaching a summer course, making sure I have X amount of dollars in our savings before I jump down the rabbit hole and I did it! I am so proud of myself! Hubs too! When I had bad days (and trust me there were plenty of bad days!), I would just imagine having a bangle on my wrist and that would keep me going. When I first opened the box, almost peed in my pants lol. Next time I will wear Depends . Here are the pics but pictures do not do it justice! Stay tuned for the arrival of bangle #2!


And just because I don’t want the other wrist to feel left out.......

It is very comfortable but I don’t plan on wearing them everyday, not even separately. Yekutiel said they can be worn everyday in terms of durability but I want these to be my pieces I wear for special occasions. But then again, everyday is a special occasion right??

I thought about getting just 1 with diamonds all around but I was worried about banging my wrist against a table (I am very clumsy) and being a bangle with large stones, it couldn’t withstand the tension like a tennis bracelet.

It is beautiful! Nothing like squiring something you worked so hard for. I say wear it and enjoy it as often as you want to - the underside can be repolished and the diamonds should be very secure. Happy for you that you are so pleased with it - can’t wait to see the next one!
