Thank you all for your nice comments. I still cannot believe he trusts me with his grandmother''s stone. I am a very forgetful person, but I hardly ever part with this ring, so very few chances to lose it.

gemgirl- unfortunately I do not have the exact specs on the Ritani at this time, I am waiting for the paperwork from the jewelry store, but from my crude measurements (sadly my micrometer is at work and all I have at home is a ruler w/ a 1cm scale) I think the stones are somewhere between 5 to 7 points. This is the style number from Ritani''s website - 31125CCRP.
