Obamas, Clintons, and CNN Targeted after George Soros

The thing is, on multiple occasions, white supremacists and far right people, feel like Trump is their president. In their own words they have said this. They see in Trump a like-minded individual, who is intolerant of people depending on the color of their skin, immigration status, and religion. Not for subtle things, but for things he says (attacking people based on whether they are Hispanic, or female. In his agenda in "build a wall" muslim ban, wanting to inprison the central park 5 (who are all Black) EVEN WHEN they were exonerated. When Trump is asked about this, he gives weak or non denials for these people. He does not condem them, rather says things like (regarding the white supremacists at Charlottesville) that there are fine people on BOTH sides. They feel endorsed by the president and the white house administration. And The far right have become even more enboldened and public in both their words AND actions. It's not going to get better, by Trump making after all these years a weak apology for these people. At this point the only way to make it better is to get Trump and his entire corrupt administration, out of office, before more people die.

He says stupid things (and gets on Twitter to tweet stupid things) every damn day. If you are unable to see how Trump’s words incites violence and has tried to normalize this type of behavior, nothing anyone here will change you mind.

And now we have another mass shooting in a Synagogue this morning. Possibly another hate crime. Hate crimes against Jewish people have increased since Trump took office. Shooter is a white man.

The shooting is a horrible thing and you have to go there with the "white man" and it's Trump's fault before anything is known other than what color he possibly is. Disgusting and pathetic.
 
It’s being reported that the shooter is a white man. I also said possible hate crime. It is a fact that hate crimes have increased since Trump has taken office.

I fell terrible for the families who have lost their loved ones. Life will never be the same for them.

People are saying the President’s rhetoric is not helping the country. What part of that statement do you not understand? The president’s words matter. Do you disagree with that @Dancing Fire? We all should be outraged by Trumps rhetoric.

It sickens me that people are targeting and hurting groups of people. Look at what has happened this past week. The president continued to attack the media at his rally last night. I’m also not thrilled that our tax dollars are being used for Trump rallies.

Agreed he may just be a nut job, but the fact is that hate crimes have increased under his watch. People of this mindset feel emboldened. A leader has a responsibility to all of his constituents. He has actively and aggressively tried to dehumanize his critics and opponents and fueled fear and division among those of different races/religions.

If you don't see a correlation between his rhetoric and how behaviors have changed, you are not paying attention or don't care. His words/behaviors have an effect on the people that look to him for leadership. Stating that the person who committed a crime should be held responsible, does not negate the role of the person instigating.

The president said there were very fine people on both sides after they were screaming chants “Jews will not replace us” in Charlottesville. How is anyone surprised the a tragedy like what took place today happens in our country? Today’s shooter made anti Semitic comments while he committed the crime.

An assault type rifle and three handguns were found at the scene.

The killings today were committed by what you typically consider “a good guy with a gun”. He legally purchased the guns and had a license to have them.

Another very sad day in America.

Yes, but only one side thinks it's OK to de-humanize people based on their minority status, gender, religion, AND their Leader (the president) on multiple occasions endorsing violence against his "enemies". There is no comparison. And if you think so, you are not looking at the situation objectively.

We'll agree to disagree that it's only on one side because I don't think you are being objective. Plenty of nasty dehumanizing crap has been written about Trump supporters, the president, his family, Republicans etc. I have never condoned the stupid things he says.

No one did it better than Trump. He started before he was a candidate attacking Obama's legitimacy as a president with his birther and Muslim conspiracy (that yes working at the VA I had older White veterans tell me was true). When you keep fanning those flames, some will catch fire. So really Trump is not an abberation but the natural heir to the Republican party, or what the Republican party has evolved to become. Americans who dismiss, excuse, or minimize what Trump says and does as somehow not important or impactful, will be judged to be on the wrong side of history.
