Obamas, Clintons, and CNN Targeted after George Soros

@redwood66 , You continue to defend and back Trump no matter what awful thing he does. The man doesn’t have a kind, moral bone in his body. You choosing to continue to support him speaks volumes about you as a person. If Trump was a Democrat, I certainly would not be standing with him. He would have lost my support the first month of his presidency. You stand with the worlds bully.

11 people died today. Trump handled yet another tragedy poorly. He has the sensitivity of a rock.

America had an awful week. The president did nothing to try to bring us together as country, but he never misses the opportunity to show up for a rally.

Your posts speak volumes about you and I will leave it at that.

In my opinion, this sentence sums how you tacitly condone Trump's speech. He doesn't say "stupid things." His words and actions are a danger to this nation.

But she's going to vote for him in 2020!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Yep. Sure am. Because every Democrat that has been talked about will work to destroy this nation as we know it. Right down to tearing up the Constitution if they get the chance. Thank goodness Gorsuch and Kavanaugh have been seated.

Negating 100% of your posts over the last two years. You didn't vote for him, right? And after he won, he did 10000 times the egregious bullshit he did campaigning and you are NOW going to vote for him.

No I didn't. But everything I have seen from Dems in the past two years tells me they are off the rails.

I just don't get what the purpose of lying to yourself is. Nothing condones Trump more than the intention to act to keep him in office. There's no "because every demo....." qualifier; it doesn't matter why. You are a Trump supporter and you condone Trump's actions. Who are all your equivocations for? Haven't you convinced yourself yet?

What equivocations? I did not condone every act of Bush or any other president. Many of them have done things I am fundamentally against like getting us involved in wars in foreign countries. Did you condone Obama droning the hell out of people because I sure didn't. If you like every thing your choice of politician does then you are the epitome of a supporter and blind follower. I hate that they all spend like drunken sailors and will call them out when they do. I support many things Trump has done and have been pleasantly surprised to do so. I have also cringed at some of them but you take the bad with the good because no politician is without fault.

You are avoiding the argument.

I'm going high ... maybe take notes. Or just keep being part of the problem. Your choice.

I didn't know that there was anything left in politics that was so vile it could fill me with such sadness and disappointment. I had hoped that my gut instinct about you was incorrect. Your true colors are shining through @redwood66 and I don't like you so I've put you on permanent ignore.

That's too bad that you let politics do this. There is life outside it. I am disappointed as well but you do what's best for you.

I am not sure why me actually saying I will vote for Trump would be a surprise considering I am candid about my views on politics. Did everyone think I would just abstain from voting?

Jesus. The republicans on this board are frothing at the mouth trying to defend the guy they all said they didn't vote for. WTF?

You all need some LL Bean waders to glide through the river of shit you are spewing right now.:lol::lol:

I mean we all know the racist and bigots who feel more empowered to be loud and proud about their votes now (especially after Charlottesville). Back in 2016 they just lied about it. I'm glad to know who they are so I can stay far away from them.

At the point, when sane people, all past living presidents, 100s of former foreign security experts, and foreign leaders (excepts his homies, dictators who kill their own citizens like Putin, Jung un, duturte), all say Trump is a dangerous, unreliable person to be president), and you say, nah, I know better than all these people. I'm no longer giving you the benefit of the doubt. but that you condone what he is doing, including manipulating and undermining our electoral process. That is undemocratic and unAmerican.

Gosh Red, did you feel that way about the horrible, nasty, disgusting, dehumanizing, racist things written about Obama and his family? I believe you thought it was wrong, but your language was much more passive than it is about the Trump family.

You say "I have never condoned the stupid things he says" Well to you they are stupid, to his acolytes it's gospel, to be followed, to be believed, to act on. These horrible, demeaning, hurtful, and anger filled words he says wind up people and they act on his words. Your stupid things he says, is a call to action for some. The reason why you just find his rhetoric 'stupid' is because while to you it's stupid, Trump does support your beliefs. Your conservative, libertarian beliefs in 'every man for himself' Ayn Rand, Rand Paul system, "it's MY life, it's MY property, personal autonomy, open markets, leave me alone, etc". Most people are NOT libertarians, most people fall in the middle (or used to). You don't like Trump, but like doesn't come into play with you, you didn't like Obama, but you would have been fine with him if he'd make government smaller, less rules, more aggressiveness in the USA stands.. it's not the person, it's if that person supports your world/USA view.

These views are anathema to me, BUT I recognize that we are a country and have free speech and voting and rules etc and your opinion counts just as much as mine does. That WE have to make this country work aside from our differences or besides our differences, and Trump doesn't allow this, he evokes the anger in his voters; that they are oppressed deplorables that the East/West coast intelligentsia hates, their rights have been trampled upon, they may be deplorable but have rights, beliefs and God is good, all the stuff the right peddles. You don't fall for this imho, you are a libertarian, your goal is to be left alone and live, less rules, less government, every man pull himself up by his god-given bootstraps etc. (you may or may not be a believer, I just used that as an euphemism). I understand this, while I am polar opposite I do accept that we are not all the same. Both sides and the middle need to unify against Trump in 2020 and vote in a person that we can all stomach.

We'll agree to disagree that it's only on one side because I don't think you are being objective. Plenty of nasty dehumanizing crap has been written about Trump supporters, the president, his family, Republicans etc. I have never condoned the stupid things he says.

Thank you for your post as I can see at least you understand my POV. But I am not sure why you think I should abandon all of that to vote for someone who would like to upturn it just to have someone you can stomach. I don't "like" any politician and see them only as a necessary "evil" required by the Constitution.

As to the nasty comments about Obama of course they were terrible and anyone that says those kinds of things are not my "people." But as for a call to action by Trump, have you read any of the actions taken by people against Republican candidates in the past few months or the people arrested for attacking or threatening them? Probably not because it doesn't get much coverage in the news. The female candidate that was punched by a loony, the guy arrested for threatening two Senators, and many others. How do you feel about those? This is why I cannot listen to endless rage about Trump when no one acknowledges what the other "side" is doing or condemns it. Who is causing them to do this? There are lunatics who will do just about anything without any help from anyone. They existed before Trump and will exist after him. IMO the media, and especially social media, feeds this.

Increasing divisiness, promoting and us v.s. them policy. Of demonizing people. It is going to happen both ways. Both sides are going to get more polarized, and unable to talk to each other. Not going to end well. And when you get to dead bodies on the street, as we see with the Pittsburgh synagogue, you can point your fingers all you want whose fault it is. But there are still dead bodies on the street.
There are great presidents, who even under the worse, dire circumstances, manage to unite the people under a common sentiment, common cause. Even middling Presidents such as George W., we felt united after the 9/11 attacks. Didn't matter if you were from the South Midwest, Manhattan, we were all considered Americans and we supported each other. Now we are ripping each other apart. The Russians are laughing at us.

We can agree on all of that.

I wasn't asking you to abandon your views, what I think people like you and me and us here who are passionate, we need to find a more acceptable president (in 2020) I recognize we need a stronger leader on illegal immigrants and our presentation in the world, but I recognize that I want to assist others on the tax dollar, so I think we all need to give and take.. it will take a while but this is what we have to do imho. We learned this as children.. the satisfaction of working together to reach the middle ground should be our goal.

Red, I know you don't like politicians and that is a libertarian view, I think we need policy and government BUT for instance I am willing to change government to more at the state level.. but not abolish or have a free for all.. common ground, sounds so archaic, banal and boring, but we have to do it.

You shouldn't have to vote for someone totally out of your comfort level, the person you can vote for is he/she who represents your views, and for me the same, but we have to take the other's side into consideration when winning. As I said, the Trump supporters felt put upon, felt angry, felt the elitist coasts thought them ignorant and stupid, and that is true, BUT I think the left needs to listen to the right's voters (not Trump etc but the real people).. we need not to make american great, we need to make America Whole Again.. We won't get everything we want on either side but maybe we can get some peace.

I would like that to happen but I do not have faith in people. You are a good person and try to be in the middle as do I most of the time despite my hard line views of what government should be. Much of what is said here on PS about conservatives/Republicans, to me or about me personally, if this is what Democrats stand for then I want no part of it. It's disgusting and no better than Trump's rhetoric. I fear there is no coming together, but for this social media I would have no idea what people really think about others. It saddens me that America is this far gone.

Edit - And that is about as much emotion as you will ever get out of me.

Well, I will try, since I have read your posts these last few years I've tried to listen more to your side of the table. We just need to listen a bit, and as my mom would say "Kate, HOPE for the best"! I want, like you want, a whole, functioning America! :) we will hope for the best.

And I'm always emotional :) I"m a blabbering, blubbering baby :)

Me too. We can both hope for the best and try to be kind to one another.

You can blubber all you like. :kiss2:

I just awful what happened in Pittsburgh. I hate to think that other countries' citizens think that this is what America has become, a place where people are unsafe in their own schools and places of worship. Some of the people killed survived the Holocaust! Only to be killed while peacefully living in their neighborhood. This is not what America should be.

What an absolute dumbass.
