Now I really did it :((

Hello lovelies

Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear your dear Dad is so poorly @missy . I’m glad the Dr is able to see him at home, less traumatic and risky than getting to the hospital. I hope they’ll be able to make him comfortable again. Poor soul has really been through the wringer. I’m glad you’re able to get out cycling, it clears the mind and calms the soul. Sending healing vibes and good thoughts.

Another busy day with the furry monster  He really is a very good pup, but it’s exhausting.

Sending good thoughts to you all :wavey:

Good morning lovely ladies and happy wonderful Wednesday!

@Austina LOL how great is it having a furry baby in the house So sweet ad full of love and boundless energy...thank you. I appreciate your well wishes for my dad and Bobby. Agree my dad is better off at home if possible. Praying the antibiotics work well for him. Knock wood Bobby is OK right now. Eating and drinking though I have not seen a BM from him for over a day but we are monitoring the situation and need be will take him in to see my sister Saturday. I made a tentative appointment just in case as per her directions.

@canuk-gal hope your week is going well and aint that the truth. Never a shortage of things to be concerned about.

@Sunrises Sunsets yes very true. And as long as he can remain home he should. They came and took the X-rays yesterday but the portable X-ray image is blurry. It looks very cloudy to me but my sister also evaluated it as best she could and could not tell if there was fluid in the lungs. Just looks blurry which happens as we get older but also the portable x-ray images are not as clear. Waiting for the physician to evaluate it

@Inked yay!! You go girl!!

@Slickk happy hump day...did you see the wildfire that is spreading along the NJ coast? UGH. those poor animals and children, parents and all affected :( I am very concerned about the wildlife and pets. I pray people don't leave their pets behind

@marcy lol so true. We are soulmates that way hahaha. My mom gets angry with me when I say it is in our DNA. But it is

Good morning everyone else. A great cycling day yesterday and looking forward to another today. Have a wonderful Wednesday. Be wll. Enjoy. XOXO

OMG! I am so happy it is back to the better weather and seeing ice cream pics!! I rode my bike outside this morning for the first time! I took it easy as I injured my foot stepping off a stepstool directly onto my dog's bone, but it was great to be outside!!

I am so happy to hear the ferals are around!

@Austina and @Scandinavian I hope the furries are doing ok!

Hope everyone is enjoying their day!!

Hi NIRDI’s!

@missy I am sorry to hear about your dad, I hope he is doing better. I get preferring to stay home. I am glad Bobby is better. Gorgeous sunrise/sunset picture. I am glad you are doing better from your fall. Mmm ice cream.

@Austina love the cute fur baby. That’s nice your friend will be close to your cabin on your cruise. It’ll probably help to have your and Colin there since I am sure he’ll be missing his wife. Phooey to having such windy weather.

@Scandinavian I hope your DH’s back gets better soon. Back pain is not fun. Your puppies will always be puppies.

@canuk-gal I hope the specialist can help with your pain. Congratulations to your nephew.

Not much new here. I’ve been working and learning how to process my photos from my little telescope. We lucked out on Easter that our guests weren’t able to come for dinner. The brisket wasn’t even done by 7 p.m. so Marty grilled some burgers for us. It smelled great cooking though. We took it out of the oven at about 9:30 and I stayed up long enough to let it cool off enough to get in the refrigerator. Marty dined on it for days this week.

Take care,
Marcy

GM girls and happy terrific Thursday!

@marcy thanks. Your Easter sounded perfect despite the fact plans changed. And even better all the leftovers Marty got to enjoy. I love leftovers from holiday gatherings where Greg is the chef

@Slickk weekend almost here...thank goodness..and wow. Just wow.

@Inked glad it was just a sprain and wonderful how quickly you healed. Woohoo for cycling yesterday. Doesn't it feel glorious when the weather is so lovely. It really makes a huge difference in my overalll mood. When it's beautiful outside and we can enjoy cycling again.

Hello everyone else. Yesterday was another great cycling day and we have now reached over 1050 miles since starting this season. Not bad. And not like I am counting or anything lol. Unfortunately when we got home and I put in another load of laundry (I do approx 4 loads a day because I enjoy doing laundry and cleaning everything daily) I realized uh oh the dryer is not working. After Greg reset it still not working. So he watched some youtube videos and tried troubleshooting and ordered two parts. He figures he has a 50/50 chance of fixing it. If he can't I have to figure out what to purchase because they no longer make the red LG dryer. Which matches the washing machine. They are over 20 years old I think but I am not ready to part with them. Remember the old days where appliances lasted forever? Sigh. Anyway we do have a washer and dryer in the basement so that is where I have to dry the clothes now but it is a hassle as there are many stairs from upstairs to the basement and with me doing 4 loads a day that is a lot of potential for falling (queen klutz here) and simply being careful doesn't always work well for me. But I will do my best.

@canuk-gal it really is always multiple somethings (see comments above) and I hope your week is going as smoothly as possible and you get good news from the doctor

@Scandinavian how are your furry babies doing? Any weekend plans?

Sharing our ice cream of the day yesterday and I hope you enjoy

Jimmy gave us a large pour yesterday

Enjoy a terrific Thursday lovely ladies. XOXO

Hello lovelies

I hope your Dad is comfortable @missy and resting at home. What a shame the x-ray wasn’t clearer to see definitively what’s going on. A long time ago, an engineer told me that they no longer build appliances to last, so if you’ve got 20 years out of yours, you’re doing well. Sounds a pain having to haul the laundry up and down to the basement. We’re laying off the ice cream ATM, we both need to lose some post cruise(s) eating

What a shame your guests couldn’t make it on Sunday, but I’m sure Marty enjoyed eating all the brisket! Do you feel really settled now in your new home @marcy. The photos are amazing, I’m really enjoying seeing them in F B.

Thanks @Inked, the furry monkey is doing really well. He’s such a good puppy, and doesn’t seem to feel too displaced with us.

It’s raining here  We’re desperate for it, and it’s amazing how quickly things green up.

We went to Trivia last night, and won! We were in a tie breaker situation, the question was what’s the average distance earth is from the moon. I said 243,000 miles, the other team said 220,000. The answer was 238,000+, so we were closer. The sour pusses were not happy

We set up a camera so we could keep an eye on the pup while we were out and he was fine. L said she’s not worrying about him while he’s with us, so I’m glad she feels they can enjoy their time away.

We were going to mow today, but it’s too wet ATM.

Have a great day lovely NIRDIs :wavey:

Omg… I feel like I belong here lately… Saturday I stepped off a stepstool onto my dog bone and thought I broke my foot it was really bruised and I couldn’t walk on it… so that’s slowly getting better

And then this morning my dog saw two deer right when we walked out of the house for her walk… I live across the street from a nature preserve that’s where I take all my pictures all the time…. She took off after the deer and I didn’t have the leash properly in my hand because we had just stepped out of the house and she took off after them!!!!!

I tried to run after her but my foot said NO WAY!!!

So I grabbed my bicycle and started riding into the woods on the trails trying to find her to no avail…. Thankfully after about an hour a man called me that he had found her so I had to drive 10 minutes to go get her, I don’t know how she got that far away that quick!

She has a HUGE gash in her ear but otherwise she’s ok!

My foot is another story!!!

OMG girl you have to stop being like me LOL! PLEASE stay safe and your sweet pup too. TG a kind man found her and she's home safe and sound. I hope your ankle/foot is improving with each day. Please rest and take it easy!!

Thanks for asking about the fires. It's pretty awful. My heart goes out to all affected including the wildlife. TG we have such amazing firemen and other professionals. No humans died as far as I know. I don't know about the wildlife though. Just praying it is fully contained soon. This morning it was 50% contained. It destroyed thousands of acres. And of course no surprise here it was started by a human. I hope they put him in jail forever

Thank you @Austina! I will be back tomorrow to chat. Just got home from cycling and we have so much to do. XOXO

Greg took apart the dryer and replaced the three parts and voila. It's working

The job took 3.5 hours from start to finish. I am impressed. He had to take everything in the machine apart to replace the three parts. Everything had to get un screwed and removed and then back together. Fingers crossed it keeps working for a good while now. I love my dh. And not just because he is not afraid of hard work and super handy and skilled at almost everything he tries. But it doesn't hurt LOL

And he finished painting the bathroom too. Just has the door and door trim left to do. I love the color we chose. I am thinking of repainting the upstairs halls and the study with the same color, But first I am giving Greg a bit of a break

Dinner time now. Have a lovely evening ladies and see you tomorrow

Good morning from Scandinavia!
Ladies, you are up to no good (LOL Harry Potter ref) so often I'm lost for words! Don't even know where to begin!
@missy, how is your father? And you? And the kitties? Bobby and Cola and the rest? The set up - and your energy in the morning - you have created for the ferals is truly impressive. I'm sure the kitties don't know how lucky they are to have you, but they sure are !
@Austina, thank you so much for the extremely sweet picture! Such a precious puppy! That does look a little bit mischievous though LOL. How long will he (she?) be staying with you? And please feel free to hop on a boat and come visit us. My four little troublemakers promise to get him tired and entertained. And Pirate promises to teach him how to eat his bed... and make indoor snow...
@marcy, such luck when guests cancel isn't it? I love guests. Especially when I invite them, LOL, and then suddenly, why did I do this? Hahahaha
@Inked Might that naughty little ear belong to a German Shepard..? Please feel free to post more pictures, I'm just a little bit over average batty about dogs LOL Wildlife can be a bit of a recall challenge, can't it..? I know all about that LOL. So we train and we train, but knock on wood... something always happens...

The puppies are fine, and my dear husband did get just well enough to return to work after easter. Isn't that typical?? The puppies are done with the anti biotics now, and I have just given them pills for ticks. The nasty little blood sucking things. Too many of them everywhere, but thankfully the pills kills them if they bite the dogs. Wish I could take a pill to LOL

The hunting and training season is over here for now, so now there is rest for a few weeks. We do that every year, just in case the puppies have any strains or other things that we don't know about. So two more weeks of rest, and then the training for the fall season begins. I.e.: me biking with the dogs in front on a leash (picture huskies training)... and praying I won't die... LOL They are a liiiittlebit to strong for me really.

Ciao!

Hope your foot heals fast. Gash in ears (at least on dogs, haven't tested my own..) tend to grow well and fast, fortunately!

GM girls and happy FriYAY!

@Scandinavian so relieved the pups are better and yes definitely typical. Well enough for your dh to return to work after the holidays. But yay everyone is better. Glad you are all taking a bit of a rest for a couple of weeks and when you start back up training please be careful. I am worried the dogs can inadvertently hurt you by pulling too hard when you are cycling. I know you are careful but just take it from me. We cannot be too careful. Though I am the queen of all klutzes lol

Thanks for asking about my dad. He's hanging in there but truly I cannot imagine him going on much longer. My mom insists he can outlive her but he's basically bed bound and he gets ill often despite being home all the time.

The feral cats are good. Thanks for your kind words. Cola is always there first thing now waiting as is Pepsi and sometimes Fresca. No sign of Shasta but as I wrote the other day Sasha did make an appearance. And all the rest seem well knock wood. I am the lucky one to be able to feed them. But I dont feel happy because we have to neuter (and vaccinate) the new additions soon. I don't like trapping them but it has to be done. Even after all these years of feeding some of the same cats they are still skittish around us. But that is the definition of a feral. I know I will never be able to hug them and even pet them but it is enough we can provide food and shelter (if they want to they can use it but not sure they are) and care for them living outdoors the best we can.

As for ticks ugh I hear you. They can be so tiny and hard to see. We were hiking a few weeks ago and a friend we ran into on the trail called me a few hours later saying he had ticks all over his dogs. Tiny tiny tiny and he told us to check ourselves for them. Unfortunately it was 2 hours after we got home and I did take a shower right when we got home but we forgot that one day to check. We usually do. Oh well. All this to say I really hate ticks too. Have a great friYAY and a fun weekend XOXO

@Slickk good morning yay for FriYAY...have a great day and an even better weekend XOXO

@Inked hope you are continuing to heal very well and feeling excited for the weekend. Air quality is going down in NYC and certain parts of LI later due to the smoke from the wildfires so if your area is affected consider wearing an N95 if you go out. So far here it has not been bad but we shall see how it goes today. Planning on cycling (((Hugs)))

@canuk-gal hope you are having a lovely week and looking forward to an even more fun weekend XOXO

Hello everyone else. We had a good cycling day yesterday and then as you can read above a long night with Greg fixing the dryer. Fingers crossed it holds. I will be trying it out for real in an hour or so after my first wash is done. And today is another cycling day before the rain comes tonight into tomorrow and Sunday is predicted to be very blustery and chilly so likely no cycling this weekend. Enjoy a friYAY filled with yay (((Hugs)))

Yesterday mid ride I enjoyed coffee and strawberry and Greg enjoyed chocolate and bourbon cherry. It was oh so delicious

Screen Shot 2025-04-25 at 5.46.46 AM.png

Enjoy a wonderful sweet and lovely FriYAY filled with good cheer

Hope your foot heals fast. Gash in ears (at least on dogs, haven't tested my own..) tend to grow well and fast, fortunately!

OMG THE TICKS!!!!!!! Ug!!!!!!! I was talking to Missy about the ticks a few weeks ago! So after Luka was "exploring" the nature preserve I had to give her a bath with tick shampoo because last year she and I got into a tick nest and she had sooo many, the pill did kill them all but I wanted to just make sure. After the incident last year I am traumatized! I wound up with a rash and lyme but it was caught early and treated.

So, I checked myself right away and I didn’t find any and showered after giving Luka her bath .... but last night I found one on the back of my neck YUCK!!!! My second one in 3 weeks already!!! I couldnt sleep I was so grossed out. So i feel like its going to be SUPER bad this year! I took the preventative doxycylene and set my alarm for 6 weeks to get a lyme titer done.

I HATE THE TICKS!!!!!

@Scandinavian WOW!! Good eye!! from an EAR you got that??!!! You really are a dog expert!!!
She's half shepherd and half husky, but she basically just looks like a shepherd with blue eyes. Personality wise shes almost all shepherd.
I took this pic Tuesday , she was attentively watching the deer
IMG_6701.jpg

This was her contemplating her life choices on Sunday

IMG_6553.jpg

Oh! and she was helping me with tax returns on April 15th
IMG_6314.jpg

Her ear looks OK this morning

IMG_6905.jpg

Im kind of obsessed with my pup! Shepherds and Huskies are so high energy so we spend A LOT of time being active, but chasing deer through the forest was NOT on the agenda!!

So I hope everyone has plans for a wonderful weekend!???!! Anyone?? LOL

We are going to be doing some gardening since the weather is better here in New York!

@missy, tell gregg I am IMPRESSED! Nice job on the dryer! Scott just fixed out water heater tuesday so he was proud of himself! LOL!

@Austina I love that you have a puppycam! Congrats on the trivia win!

@canuk-gal have a super weekend!

@marcy will you try to get a picture of the "smiley face" celestial event tonight??

Good morning lovely ladies and happy Caturday Saturday!

@Inked aww great photos :kiss2:
Boo to the ticks. Persistent little buggers aren't they
Sorry you were exposed again but glad you caught it and are treating prophylactically
Weekend plans are not exciting...continuing to declutter and organize and we have to go grocery shopping and running errands probably due to rainy stormy weather. Tomorrow might be a hiking day but darn those ticks lol. We will have to avoid wooded areas for sure this time of year but they are everywhere

@MamaBee hope everything is going smoothly

@Austina hope you are looking forward to a lovely weekend

@Slickk yay it's the weekend, have fun and enjoy

@Scandinavian rest and relax and enjoy. You have earned a break

Hello everyone else. Yesterday was fun. Cycling, ice cream, furry babies and then a zoom call with my girlfriends last night. The day went super fast. Today is stormy so inside work and errands. Thank goodness Bobby has not had another vomiting or diarrhea episode since Sunday so we are not going to make the very long trip to my sister at her clinic this morning.

This is one of our new bathroom light fixtures

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow gorgeous weather day!!!!! Went out to cycle--did our 14K route. The paths were very busy!!!! I guess people read the forecast and tomorrow is supposed to suck weather wise--so make the most of the day! Saw some familiar faces and some cute little kiddies and pooches. Nice to have the smiles and "hello's"!!

My DH spent some time finding me new all season tires---WOW sticker shock for me, but not for him. He choose Michelins cuz he wants me safe I guess. The Continentals I had held up very well for years. Anyway, we'll swap the winter tires over on Thursday for my new rubber. April had been a $$$$ month!

@missy good that Greg is so handy and hope your dryer keeps on keeping on. Nice to have fresh paint.

@Austina do you still have your little visitor?

@Inked your dog is very pretty. Hope your foot is better soon.

@marcy is your weather improving? I saw crocuses today and buds on the trees--I am encouraged Spring is truly here!

@Scandinavian glad everyone is on the mend in your household. What plans do ya'll have for summer vacation?

cheers--Sharon

Good morning lovely ladies and happy big and small dog Sunday!

@canuk-gal it sure is. I love the bathroom redo. So pretty. YAY for cycling and enjoying gorgeous weather! It can get crowded here too when the weather is nice. And it is more than lovely when everyone is in a good mood. It's contagious :) Glad you got new all season tires for your vehicle. Better safe and I hear you on April being an expensive month. I foresee many more expensive months in our future lol. But that's only because we might be putting a lot into the house. Still waiting on the estimate for renovating and insulating the attic. Hope your weather holds for today and you can get outside and enjoy

@Slickk hope you are having a wonderful weekend and all is well

@marcy hope you are enjoying your new lenses and all the beautiful things to photograph and that your weather is behaving itself

@Scandinavian hope your R&R is going smoothly and you are enjoying the peace and quiet and please hug your furry babies from me

@Inked SWOON!!! Impeccable taste. Divine. Wear in good health and happiness always. I hope your ankle is all better and you have no ill effects from the prophylactic doxy

@springerspaniel hope you and your furry babies are enjoying the weekend and please hug them from me

@Austina if your furry monster is still with you please give him a big hug from me...I hope he is behaving well enough and you are enjoying his visit immensely.

GM everyone else. Hope all is well.

We ran errands yesterday and are now stocked til next week.

Today is dry but very windy (25 mph sustained winds gusts to 45) and chilly so likely not cycling but hiking.

Our TIVO gave out in the bedroom last night (though Greg got it working temporarily so I could fall asleep more on that below) so Greg is going to try swapping it out this morning for a backup TIVO we bought for circumstances just like this. The bedroom TIVO is from 2011 so it lasted a long time.

The biggest issue with TIVO here is the interface doesn't work with our cable company and it is always a HUGE hassle to get everything working. Takes TIVO personnel and cable company personnel to work together and get it going so really unsure if the outcome will be successful. Greg has to get both companies on the phone once he sets it up before it will work. And they have to do something on their end to get it going. The problem is we find neither side knows what they are doing because most people don't have TIVO with this cable company as a provider.

We tried going with the cable company instead of TIVO for a short while years ago since it is so hard to get TIVO working with the cable company but OMG I just hated the cable company for watching recordings etc so we went back to TIVO. But lots and lots of issues with TIVO and Comcast interface. Plus the fact that Comcast no longer has cable cards makes this all quite challenging.

If Greg and TIVO and Comcast professionals cannot make it work we will be without TV in the bedroom for a while which isn't good for me. I don't watch much at all in the bedroom but need approximately 20 minutes at night and then I fall asleep. It's my sleep trigger so that's why I need it in the bedroom. We will figure something out if need be if Greg cannot get it working. I guess I can always try watching something on my lap top to fall asleep. I remember many decades ago when Greg and I were taking east coast driving trips every autumn and found an amazing hotel that had no TV. I just watched stuff on my laptop but wish I could fall asleep without the TV.
I guess you could say it is my sleeping pill lol.

Anyway, it's a beautiful sunrise this morning. Crisp and clear skies with red and purple and just stunning. May your Sunday be filled with peace, harmony and joy and lots and lots of color. XOXO

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Miserable weather today--very chilly and rain showers. So I traipsed the mall for exercise. It was busy since the weather sucked--people all had the same idea.

A man was there with his Velveteen Lop rabbit. "Buddy" was SO stinkin cute and soft! Now I want one!!!!!! I was just reading about how they make perfect pets as they are sociable and very friendly. You could tell his owner loved him very much. :kiss2:

That's about it. Happy Sunday folks!!!

cheers--Sharon

Good morning lovely ladies and happy marvelous Monday!

@Slickk countdown begins soon..hope you had a most wonderful weekend XOXO

@canuk-gal sorry for the inclement weather but you made the best of the situation and walking in the mall accomplishes more than one thing. Aww to the velveteen rabbit Buddy. So sweet. I wish we could live on a farm and have all sorts of animals and give them wonderful homes with safety, food, love. Have a wonderful Monday Sharon XOXO

Hello everyone else. How did Monday get here so fast.

Yesterday was so much fun. We went walking with our friends and their dog. Greg walked Jenny the entire walk and I hope that eventually we can walk our own dog :) Anyway Nora took video of him with jenny LOL and it is pretty funny and sweet. It was a good walk with such wonderful people and of course the sweetest dog. Greg also managed to replace the TIVO without any help from Comcast. I have a feeling this is not the end of it lol but for now we have TV in the bedroom so yay. Today is a cycling day woohoo. Enjoy a marvelous Monday girls.
Be well. XOXO

Have a great day girls!!!

Hello lovelies

Woohoo, so glad Greg was able to fix the dryer @missy, he really is a clever sausage! I absolutely adore that light fitting, and have been looking at similar ones, we had to pay to upgrade the vile light fittings that were supplied as standard, but they’re still not great. It’s always something isn’t it? Glad your TiVo is working again, we have apps on our TV that we subscribe to. We get money off every month through one of our CCs. We like having a tv in the bedroom, as we often go to bed early to watch, so that we can turn it off and then get straight to sleep. Glad you had fun walking with your friend and her dog, that pup really loves Greg!

Happy to hear all the pups are feeling better, (and DH of course :D) @Scandinavian. Believe me when I tell you that the little monkey doesn’t need any help from Pirate! He peed on the rug, tried to hump Colin’s leg and had me up a 6am. I got up because I thought he needed to go out, but nope, he just wanted to play.

Oh my goodness @Inked, what a heartstopping experience. So happy your beautiful pup was ok, it just takes a second for them to get a whiff and they’re off. Dottie did that once, got the sniff of a deer and was off. Fortunately I ran and called and she came crashing through the undergrowth, after what seemed like hours, but was actually just a few minutes. She scared herself so much, she never did it again. Your pup is such a good looking mix.

Pup went back home last night @canuk-gal, it was nice not sleeping with one ear cocked  Definitely confirmed for sure, any future dog for us, will be an older rescue. We’re too old to cope with a puppy full time. He was ‘mostly’ well behaved, but he had his moments, which is only to be expected with such a youngster.

Busy catching up with things we didn’t do last week, just popped out for a couple of things we needed to tide us over to our regular Thursday shop.

Did some pruning this morning, it warm and muggy but very dull, so no pool for us today.

:wavey:

Pirate found a new type of bird… Canada Goose I believe… might be a bit too big for retrieving… LOLIMG_5779.jpeg

This was her contemplating her life choices on Sunday

@canuk-gal have a super weekend!

@marcy will you try to get a picture of the "smiley face" celestial event tonight??

Oh my how beautiful!!! I should have spotted that the ear is perhaps taller than for a standard GS, but that slipped my eyes, I guess LOL. I do love dogs, so for the breeds that I do know quite well, it doesn't take me much to recognise them, I guess. Those eyes though! Husky true and true! Would require quite a bit of exercise to keep her happy I guess... LOL

But did he swim in the direction of your neighbouring country??? I do still think Pirate - or actually maybe Phantom - could still teach him a few tricks... LOL
Same goes for that blue eyed beauty @Inked ... Running is one thing, but try to swim after them... LOL

@missy, your pictures are so wonderful! That light!! I have no idea how you do that...

Good morning lovely ladies!! Happy terrific Tuesday!

@Austina thank you. Greg had picked out a boring light fixture and asked me what I thought and I told him lol. I found this one and knew it was it. Funny 25 plus years ago we spent a small fortune on genuine art deco lights. Ceiling fixtures and lamps. All in our NYC Co-op and I love them but they do not fit in here. But those are works of art and made/makes my heart go pitter patter. I wish they would look good here but I know they would not. OH well. Aww I bet you are going to miss that pup though I know you probably won't miss all that extra work. Hope your weather is more comfortable today. Finally we are getting some beautiful weather yesterday and today though rain is coming at the end of the week into the weekend. Supposedly we need the rain as a few wildfires have broken out not too far from here but I remember this April being pretty wet.

Aww thank you @Scandinavian appreciate your kind words. Your photos are beautiful and I enjoy seeing them. LOL the Canadian geese I love all birds and animals but I had a friend who hated the geese. How can you hate an innocent animal? Anyway. I hope everyone is well and going smoothly.

@Slickk good morning. I hope you have a terrific Tuesday sweet friend

@Jemi I hope all is going smoothly...thinking of you and sending love

@MamaBee thinking of you too...sending lots of good energy and healing vibes and big hugs

@Inked how are you feeling? I know you are enjoying your beautiful new pieces...swoon

@springerspaniel hoping all is well by you

Good morning everyone else. Hope you are enjoying a good week. We went cycling yesterday and did 70 miles woohoo. Enjoyed ice cream and furry babies and it was a purrrrfect day. Hoping for more of the same today. Greg has a conference call this evening and was working last night too. We are very fortunate he can work from home like this and I am grateful for as long as it lasts.

Speaking of grateful...they make the strawberry special for me. And I appreciate that :)

I'll try to get a better picture for you. I first thought it was deer grazing on our gras.. LOL So some kind of big geese at least. They are not regulars, but I think they are having a mini holiday at our place this time of year on their way north.
And oh my the poop... One of the dogs rolled around in it, and he is still green...
