HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@marcy enjoy your break! Great photo!
@missy I rode alone today--DH was "busy". Coolish but had a nice ride. Wore my gloves and didn't forget to eat first. LOL.
@mrs-b my DH has a note in the day-timer about the Queen's Funeral--we have been watching a lot of stuff, and I am rewatching The Crown. I don't really discuss the Monarchy with anyone--lots of diverse opinions here. I know how I feel. I am glad you have company and help with the pooches.

Stay safe and well folks. I am making Sunday supper for my family so I better get a move on.

cheers--Sharon

Hello lovelies

Just a quick fly by. We’re enjoying having our friends here so much, we’ve been busy catching up. Had a nightmare journey to the airport, I missed the turning for the car park and ending up in the drive through for Whataburger  Their taxi didn‘t turn up to take them to the airport, and they couldn‘t get another (tried 5 other companies), so had to ask a neighbour. They were just about to board when they were told a puncture had been discovered in one of the plane tyres, so were delayed for 90 mins. Despite that, they arrived on time, only to find another plane on their stand, so had to sit and wait for it to clear. Then their luggage took forever to arrive, and T couldn’t get her fingerprints to register on the scanner. We were waiting for nearly 2 hours and getting worried that something happened to them, so much so, that Colin said the next couple to come through the door, grab them and ask if they want to come and stay with us:bigsmile: They were the last people to come through the doors and were really glad to see us. We eventually got home at 7.30pm. We had a fairly relaxed day yesterday, went for a walk and sat outside, and today T cut and coloured my hair. We went to a vineyard for a late lunch and have been sitting outside until it got dark.

Will pop in again when I can.

Sorry your BIL isn’t doing well @marcy, ugh to having all the blood drawn @missy, and glad you arrived in one piece @MamaBee.

Love and hugs to you all :wavey:

Good morning girls! Happy marvelous, how did it get here so fast, Monday!

@canuk-gal I always wear gloves when cycling but I have Dupuytren's so I have to protect my hands as best as I can. In the heat of the summer I wear only spf gloves which don't really protect my hands from the trauma/pressure of cycling. But it's better than nothing. Glad you enjoyed cycling and some cooler weather despite your DH being busy. Hope your Sunday supper was nice. Big hugs

@Austina oh I am so glad you are enjoying a lovely time with friends despite the brouhaha that ensued beforehand. It's OK about all the blood. I am used to it. And believe it or not the results came back yesterday from the Saturday draw. The lab techs must work all weekend for me to have received results Sunday. Not all of them came in but much of it did. I am impressed with the speed of Quest as I am still waiting for Lab Corp to get my lab results from a week ago. Let's just hope Quest did all the tests ordered as I have experienced that mess up before. Anyway enjoy your friends! XOXO

@marcy I am so very sorry. No words of wisdom to share but to say I hope your BIL is finding peace and contentment spending time with family and with the time he has left. And I am continuing to send gentle hugs to all of you. I hope you continue to have a lovely visit at the beach. There's no place like it on earth IMO. Sand, sea, smells, sounds, all delicious. Big hugs

@mrs-b big hugs and much love to you.

@springerspaniel I hope you have a good last week of summer. It's the last few days of summer. I'm sad but it's inevitable this passing of time. Thinking of you.

@bling_dream19 happy last few days of summer. I know you are making the most of it. XOXO

@Slickk hope you had a fun weekend and are ready to face the week. Big hugs.

Hi everyone else. We had a fantastic cycling day yesterday. All the usual. Friends, furry and human, ice cream and wildlife. And of course the sand and the sea and all that entails. Peaceful yet invigorating. Have a marvelous Monday and be well. Big hugs and much love.

GM girls! Happy terrific Tuesday!

@marcy hope you are enjoying the beach and sand and sea. Nothing like it right? Swoon!

@bling_dream19 hope you are enjoying a good week. I moved up my transvag ultrasound appointment for Thursday and I am super nervous.

@Slickk hope you are having a good week...autumn is almost here and with it Halloween, Thanksgiving and then Christmas...it all goes so fast.

@mrs-b gentle hugs and continued healing vibes.

@springerspaniel hope all is going smoothly...how are the furry babies?

@MamaBee when are you getting the flu shot? It only lasts about 3 and a half months so we are trying to time it in conjunction with flu season.

@Austina hope you are having a blast with your friends.

@canuk-gal hope you are enjoying cycling this week. We are enjoying it to the max...rain is coming I think and I want to cycle as much as we can before we can't.

Hi everyone else. Yesterday was a whirlwind.
I had my dental visit yesterday morning and I have to see her back in a week due to some swelling. It's always multiple somethings sigh. But it was pretty painless so there's that. And we enjoyed another gorgeous cycling day after my appointment and got to ride with our dear friend Butch who we are meeting for an ice cream break later today mid ride. And a wonderful zoom call with my girlfriends last night. This morning we have a telemedicine call for Greg and then off cycling.

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying these last days of summer for 2022. My fervent wish for everyone is that 2023 brings good health and much happiness and love to each and everyone of my friends and loved ones. Big hugs and much love. Leaving you with a few photos of our day yesterday. Be well and enjoy a terrific Tuesday. XOXO

My sweet ever patient and supportive husband waiting for me as I saw our dentist. The hour appointment took 90 minutes. Nothing is easy when it comes to medical appointments... Sigh. But luckily I have the best dentist.

Screen Shot 2022-09-20 at 5.55.04 AM.png

And then we got to go cycling ...yay.

Heart in mouth...like a deer in headlights. LOL. TG there was little traffic and she got to the other side safely. As we sat in the middle of the road blocking what little traffic there was so she could safely cross. But oh my goodness.

Hi NIRDI’s!

@canuk-gal I am enjoying my break. Thank you. I hope your Sunday dinner went well.

@Austina I bet your friends were very glad to see you after their multiple mishaps and delays. Sounds like a case of if something can go wrong . . . I am glad you are enjoying catching up with them.

@missy thank you. That’s great you got your blood test results so fast. You are right there is no place like the beach; it is sure different than what I’m used to in Wyoming. It still cracks me up the sounds of the ocean is so similar to a high wind in Wyoming. Your ice cream looks delicious. We picked up three assorted flavors at the store yesterday and I had a bit of each. Mmm ice cream. Sorry your dental visit means another visit. Sounds familiar. I hope they get the swelling down for you. Glad the dear wasn’t in the street in heavy traffic.

I’m surviving the family house GTG. Our numbers dropped from 12 to 10 today. Yesterday I have more wine than food which took its toll on me. I was on the deck and flies liked my wine and would land on the glass or my hand and every stinking time, I’d jump. I swear I had as much wine on me or the deck and in my stomach. Not enough food and too much wine. Think I’ll stick to water today.

I did venture out in the morning to buy two dozen Duck donuts. They were okay but quite the lengthy process to acquire. In the afternoon, Marty took me and his parents out for a ride during which we stopped at a gift store. Strangely enough though, a lot of places are closed on Monday, including Dairy Queen.

Here are two pictures. One of me by our pool here and this morning’s sunrise.

Take care.

Good morning girls!
@missy..I think we will get the flu shot after the second week in October. We may even wait until Halloween. We have grandchildren who attend school so we need all the protection we can get. If we can I would like to get it in November like my doctor suggested..
@marcy We went to Corolla NC for vacation this year. We rented a big house for us and my son and family. My grandson got Covid so we had to stay in that huge house all by ourselves..You could walk to Duck if the road had a sidewalk..but it didn’t. We literally came out of the road...made a left..two seconds later it was Duck. We had the Duck donuts the day before we left. My husband said it was a weird system. You put your order in and wait for them to make them. They were yummy! We have Duck Donuts in Pa but I haven’t made it there yet. I’m dieting so no donuts for me. The midgies there were terrible. The OBX is a beautiful place..The house had a private wood staircase in the backyard that brought you over the hill to the beach. At that time there was no one there except the people staying at the rental houses. I think this was late May.
I love your photo by the pool..:kiss2:

Hi to everyone else..XO

We are in Maryland. We spent all day yesterday cleaning windows because no one would clean them. They are the original windows from 1905 with the pulley system. We won’t be able to do the second floor unless it had a flat roof outside a window. There are a few places that do..When we get a realtor to sell this house..they will probably know people that will do it. We’re beat!
Right before bed S found out we have water in the basement. It looks like the condensate pump stopped pumping. We’re supposed to leave today so I hope they can send someone. They said possibly before 12..Ugh

Have a good day!

Good morning girls! It’s wonderful Wednesday!

@MamaBee that seems a solid plan. We’re getting the flu vaccine in October too. Just not sure when.
Wow I can imagine how exhausted you must be from cleaning all those windows. WishIng you loads of good luck selling your house. Ugh to water in the basement. Sending you drying vibes.

Hi everyone else. Sorry for the abbreviated post. My morning got away from me. We enjoyed a great cycling day yesterday and met Butch for ice cream. Delightful, We are cycling today and then rain is here for tomorrow. I moved up my transvaginal us for tomorrow and I’m very nervous. Praying the results will be ok.
Have a wonderful day. Sending you big hugs and lots of love.

@MamaBee - what a nightmare re the water in the basement! And - cleaning windows?? You are an amazon among housekeepers, my friend! I hope someone comes very soon so you can start making your way home; this is the sort of things that tests my patience to its limits!

@missy - I'll be thinking of you tomorrow - fingers crossed big time! Enjoy your cycling today and, as always, that ICECREAM!!! I'm glad you enjoyed time with your friend! oxo

@marcy - you look wonderful! And - donuts are my FAVORITE food, bar none! The idea of hot donuts - of man! That's my biggest downfall! I resist them at all costs at this point, but....ugh!...not easy! Enjoy your time away - I hope you manage to get *into* that pool!

@canuk-gal - I thought of you on Monday with the Queen's funeral. I was only able to watch a little as I had a PT appt, but I thought it was all very grand, solemn, and beautiful.

@Austina - is your friend a hairdresser? Either way - how convenient that she was able to cut your hair! Mine is in DESPERATE need of a color - will try to remember to call my hairdresser today and make the appt! I hope you enjoy your time with your friends; lunch at vineyards and all of that ilk sounds fabulous. :))

As for me, I went to the pain specialty/spine clinic yesterday. The woman I saw spent over an hour with me and she and I are absolutely on the same page. Suffice to say - she doesn't think I should have the surgery as it's just not a good enough fit with my symptoms. She's sending me off to have a pelvic ultrasound and also to see another specialist. After a long conversation and all sorts of movement/mobility/joint tests, plus a really thorough review of my MRI's before I even walked through the door, her conclusion is that this isn't just one thing. She thinks I have: stenosis, lots and lots of osteophytes / boney growth at multiple points in my spine, inflamed facet joints, Crohn's disease - which has caused inflammation to settle into my sacroiliac joint (apparently this isn't uncommon for people with Crohn's, the SI joint being a main target for Crohn's inflammation - who knew?), Piriformis Syndrome, multiple herniated discs, steroid-induced multiple tiny pelvic fractures and possibly the same in my vertebrae and hip joint, osteoporosis, sacroiliac instability and enlargement of the gap between the S/I joint and my pelvis, and I'm also being tested for Cushing's disease. So all that to say - that would explain the pain.

It was a lot to take in and today, having taken it in, I feel largely like....well, crap, really. It explains a lot, tho, as each one of those things has a specific set of symptoms, all of which I relayed to her independently of anything she said to me after I'd given her the full run-down of my pains and instabilities. One issue tho - if I have osteoporosis and fractures, I'm not an ideal candidate for having fusion and bolts etc inserted into my spine, as I have a risk of all sorts of post surgical complications. As always, tho - the main thing for me is to get off the steroids - but every time I do, my Crohn's ramps up in a way that's unbearable and the resulting increased intestinal swelling / blockages lead to issues / surgery of their own.

And that's the update from here. Man, that was exhausting to write - makes me realize, I'm coping with this general firestorm of problems in that age-old manner: I'm blocking it out. Denial 101. @springerspaniel - I need some good tips on suppressing important, life changing issues and avoiding uncomfortable thoughts!

Seriously tho - I hope all of you are doing better than me. Hugs to you all.

ETA. ...but on the other hand, here's a photo of the most wonderful man in the world and one of the two best dogs. It was Tim's birthday on Saturday, so here he is on Saturday morning, a whole year older. <3

GM girls! Happy terrific Thursday!

Dear @mrs-b it sounds like you are on the right track and have a provider who knows her stuff and who cares. I am keeping so many good thoughts and well wishes for you. I am so sorry you are going through this and feeling cra**y. I hope this is the beginning of real relief for you dear girl. And thank you for the good wishes for today. In 90 minutes I should be having the ultrasound. I won't know anything today however and probably mid week next week I can pick up the results. This imaging center still does not have a patient portal. Anyway big hugs and lots of love to you sweet friend. And a happy belated birthday to your sweet dh.

@MamaBee thank you. I am very nervous but nothing I can do but go for the test and hope for the best. Thank you for all your good wishes and hugs. And I am sending hugs your way too.

Hi everyone else. Hope all is going well. We had a good day yesterday. Cycling by the sea and just a gorgeous day. Today is quite the contrast with rainstorms and wind. So errand day it is. Leaving you with a photo of our day yesterday and wishing you sunshine and happiness no matter the weather outside. Big hugs.

Thank you @Austina! And everyone. I appreciate your good wishes. It went well and now I wait for the results. Mid week next week. No patient portal so I have to go back to get the results in person. Now I’m going to relax and enjoy a lovely long weekend. Big hugs and much love to you all. XOXO

Hi NIRDI's!

@MamaBee I remember your trip to NC where you ended up staying there mostly by yourselves. That pretty much happened here too. I'll explain below. We are right next to Corolla, we went shopping there the other day. The Duck donuts is a weird system and I doubt I'd go out of my way to get another one. Our deck doesn't go out to the beach but we are close. Cleaning windows at your house sounds like a chore. I hope it sells quickly.

@missy glad your US is done and good luck with the results. Glad you are out adding miles on your bike. Mmm ice cream. I picked up 3 flavors for us the other day which we are enjoying every night.

@mrs-b I'm not getting in to the pool but Marty did. I am a sucker for hot cookies, I'd eat them all the time. I sure hope they can help alleviate your pain without surgery. The woman you saw at the clinic sounds great. Keeping you in my thoughts. Happy Birthday to Tim, love the picture of him and that sweet puppy.

Marty's BIL decided in the middle of the night yesterday he needed to go to the ER. He decided he wanted to go to the one near his home (6 hours away). My SIL had her RV here at the beach house, so they decided she'd drive him there in the RV. Marty and her got him in the RV, hooked him in with a seat belt and got his oxygen running off the generator. My BIL's wife was going to follow in their SUV but she decided she should ride in the RV in case my BIL needed help. So their daughter threw a few things together and drove their SUV home. They didn't get on the road until about 4:30 am. My BIL is a bit better today but needs fluid drained off his lungs again. Someone brought the niece back today to get her car and to pack. So that leaves us and Marty's parents at the beach house for a few more days.

Here is today's sunrise and some waves earlier this morning.

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!

Nice day today--no cycling too many errands. My dental cleaning was good and efficient--they know I can't take much. I like the polished feeling! This weekend is supposed to be nice weather wise--so biking we will go. Work was OK this week.

Went to the butcher today--ordered my TG ham and bought other yummy stuff. I wore my emerald ring today and manage not to hit it on anything......

@marcy sorry to hear about your BIL not being well. Hope he feels better, soon.
@mrs-b You sounded positive about your medical visit regarding your back. I hope a great solution can be found to address your issues.
@missy glad your appt was uneventful and hope the turnaround for results is short.
@MamaBee my hair stood up on end when I heard about your basement water. House water belongs in sinks, showers and tubs and that IS IT!
@springerspaniel I hope you are enjoying your job. Work satisfaction is very important.

cheers--Sharon

Stay safe and well folks!!

GM girls and happy FriYAY!
Looks like we skipped over autumn and are into winter LOL. It's FREEZING out now. OMG. LOL
And the winds are 30 mph!!!
I sort of don't want to ride but Greg is like don't be a baby. So of course I cannot back down from that challenge haha so riding we will go. As soon as I do my workout.

@canuk-gal thank you. We also ran errands yesterday and got a lot accomplished. It's funny how many of us got dental cleanings recently. We are on the same wavelength lol. Sweet you are enjoying your emerald ring and yasss no hitting it on anything. I totally get what you mean though. I have been known to wack my rings once or twice. :oops2:

@bling_dream19 happy FriYAY! Hope you have fun weekend plans.

@Slickk hope you are having a smooth week and looking forward to a sweet weekend. First weekend of Autumn.

@Austina hope you had fun with your friends and are enjoying autumn. It skipped us and went right to winter LOL

@marcy oh no about your BIL. I am so sorry.
Gorgeous photos.
We are getting Wyoming weather right now. Cold and windy. Keeping your BIL in my thoughts.

@MamaBee my parents had to call the city yesterday and get workers over there as their basement was flooding with water and it was the city's fault. I wish they would move. They live in a raised ranch house and it's too much upkeep IMO for older people. Sigh. I worry about them. How's your mom doing?

@springerspaniel woohoo it's FriYAY and tomorrow is the weekend.

@mrs-b sending continued healing hugs and well wishes.

Yesterday we ran errands after my ultrasound and it rained on and off for a few hours. Nothing too significant so we are still in a drought situation. Hopefully that will dissipate soon.

Have a wonderful FriYAY lovely ladies. Big hugs and much love to each of you. Be well and enjoy.

This little guy says good morning. They have been very busy gathering nuts and seeds that they will be unable to find but hopefully they will find someone's stash.

Hi NIRDI's!

@missy great pictures. I did say "hi Seymour" at your squirrel picture. That is what I used to call the squirrels that tormented my father, ha ha. Sorry it's cold and windy there, it's like Wyoming. I chuckled at the don't be a baby comment, that's exactly how Marty gets me to do things too. They have us figured out, eh?

@canuk-gal enjoy the nice weekend and I am glad your work week was okay. I've been following what's going on with my job in the whatsapp this week but didn't volunteer to do anything. Your TG dinner sounds delicious already.

Thanks for the wishes for my BIL. He did get to go home yesterday. They pulled 3 cups of a vicious substance out of his lung and there is more to drain. My SIL said they are just making him comfortable. My SIL said they are scheduling appointments to check other things. Don't know which one is more accurate; probably somewhere in between. It doesn't sound good for him either way.

Yesterday we went out to lunch with Marty's parents and then later Marty and I ventured over to a historic lighthouse near here. Marty made us some chicken nuggets and rice for supper. We are trying very hard to finish the ice cream today. Ha Ha. Tough chore.

Fiona is 70 miles directly off shore here so the sea it quite angry. Great waves though. By this time tomorrow we should be winging out way home. Yay!

Take care.

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy FriYAY!

I was lovely and warm when I got up--and we hit our high by 1000! Rode in 19C and mild wind. We really enjoyed the gorgeous fall colors--altho I don't like what it signals LOL. But breathtaking. I like smiling all the time to fellow walkers and cyclists. And to stop and chat to strangers. Talked to some fisherman today--they had success! I asked them how they'd prepare their catch.......

@missy sorry you hit winter today--I'm sure it will be short lived. We didn't see any wildlife today but we could sure SMELL them! A lot skat on the paths....

@marcy you have a gift with photography. Travel safely and am keeping your BIL in my prayers.

@bling_dream19 how are you??

@mrs-b I adore your locket and would love to have one. Something about putting family pictures in them is very cool to me..... I never see them for sale locally. Maybe I'll look harder..even a silver one would be nice....

I just opened my Visa bill YIKES! My emerald ring was on it, so I knew the shock was coming LOL

cheers--Sharon

Hey there everyone!

@marcy, I'm so sorry about Marty's brother, such a hard time for everyone. I hope having all that fluid removed helps him feel better. Your pictures are absolutely gorgeous, you really have a talent for photography. Sorry you have to do further testing but it's good the doctor is being thorough and I'll be keeping you in my thoughts. Hope your trip home goes smoothly and safe travels.
@Austina, exciting to see the progress being made on the pool! Hope you are having a wonderful time with your friends.
@missy, it seems like fall has made it to New Jersey. It's not even that cold but quite a change from what we've been having. I think it's supposed to warm up a bit next week so I guess we'll get a reprieve. Hope you get your test results back soon.
@mrs-b, I'm glad your new doctor seems like a good fit. I really hope she can help with your back issues and get you feeling much better. That's a great pic of Tim and your furbaby.
@MamaBee, ugh to water in the basement, hope you were able to get that taken care of quickly. Cleaning those windows sounds like quite the chore, make sure you take it easy this weekend!
@canuk-gal, glad to see you're wearing and enjoying that gorgeous emerald ring! LOL to opening the Visa bill. Nice you're having some warm weather and I hope you have a relaxing weekend.

I'm doing ok and the family is good. Nothing much new really. Dh and I were in SC for several weeks and we're back in NJ now. I've got a lot I could be doing but am being completely lazy and surfing the internet and watching the President's Cup LOL.

Hope everyone has a calm and peaceful weekend!

Hi girls! First full day of autumn is going well.

@marcy gorgeous photos as always! Thanks for sharing ❤️

I hope draining that fluid helps your bil feel more comfortable.

And yes enjoy your ice cream. I’m sure you are up to the task of finishing it. But if not I’m always available for ice cream. :)

Safe travels home!

@canuk-gal sounds like a purrrrfect day. Cycling in warm with mild wind weather. I’m glad you enjoyed! And lol I hear you on the bills. That’s why I don’t look

@junebug17 welcome back to NJ! And you’re right. The weather is autumnal. But oh my goodness it was so windy cycling by the sea. We almost blew away haha and it was chilly here by the ocean… a good ten degrees cooler than inland. But gorgeous weather! I did wear my Arcteryx winter jacket cycling today lol. It was a good ride sand a good workout riding too due to all that wind resistance.

Hi everyone else. Just got home from a good cycling day and I’m pretty exhausted but in a good way. Have a lovely evening all. XOXO ❤️

Of course the cooler weather did not stop our enjoyment of ice cream. Just saying. ;-)

Yup! I put my gloves on by the water, then took them off in the woods. And I always wear Gortex whether I need it or not. I'd rather sweat then be cold.

Good morning girls..xo
@mrs-b You sure have a lot of medical issues on your plate at the moment. My heart goes out to you and @missy … You both need a break...but not literally! That is not a joke! :oops2:
@marcy I’m so sorry about your BIL..Is his condition heart related? That’s a lot of fluid to drain from his lung. It must have been very hard for him to breathe. I hope he’s feeling more comfortable. It must be very sad for Marty to see his brother like this. His parents must be beside themselves with worry. I’m sure you were a comfort to them.
Your photos are amazingly scary and beautiful at the same time.
@junebug17 That’s so nice that you were able to stay in SC for a few weeks. Did you see your sister or children there? I loved having a second home but now it’s become too much. I will actually be relieved when we put it up for sale. We should have bought a condo there.
I don’t know if you know we also lived in New Jersey many years ago. Approximately 38 years ago we lived in Florham Park…We moved to Chatham in 1990. Chatham was my favorite place to live in New Jersey. There are so many pretty towns there.
My husband also watched the President’s Cup. Do you play golf with your husband? Now that he’s retired he’s been playing golf with my oldest son. He’s not very good..according to him..but he loves it. Right now he’s pretty sore..His older body rebels..poor guy..
@bling_dream19 How are you doing? I know you must have had some medical issues in the past..but I don’t know what they are. I’m sorry..I must have missed your post. I hope they are behind you now. I wish you the best of health and happiness.
@canuk-gal I’m so happy your emerald ring came out the way you hoped it would. It’s just gorgeous. I would love to see more pics. My mom loves emeralds but she has little ones in a cluster with terrible diamonds. She loves it so much..I think she bought it at Macy’s many years ago. :oops2:
@Austina I know you are having so much fun with your friends..What did they think of your pretty house and area? Will you make trips back to England to visit them at some point?
I‘m still so sad about the Queen‘s passing. I watched the funeral after the fact in pieces because it just kept me sad for hours..

I’m going to visit my mom today. I can’t bring her home yet because I have PTSD from her visit when she had her BI issue here. I do visit her for a few hours two times a week..I did take her home once since then..but now the pills aren’t working like they did. I’m too afraid of it happening again here. I really was traumatized by it..She…. not so much. She’s use to nurses taking care of it for her. I thought I had a strong stomach. Nope…I thank the nurses every time I pass the station to visit her..They laugh..;-)

Have a fun weekend everyone! XO

Tim just took a RAT - he's got Covid. No point me taking one as I have no symptoms at this point, so a RAT test won't work. Either way, we're now doing isolation.

@mrs-b Oh no! I hope his symptoms are mild..and you continue to stay symptom free…I would begin to test at five days just to be sure. XOXO

Will almost certainly buckle and take a test this afternoon. Then daily, no doubt. I want to KNOW!

Tim is fully isolated - staying in his office, the spare room and his bathroom. He's allowed into the garage to his workshop, but if he wants to do that, he has to go out via the front door, which is right next door to the spare bedroom. And if he so much as cracks a door, he has to be fully masked and let me know ahead of time. I was over in Pasadena when Nathaniel had covid, and we were vigilant! I'll be making Tim's meals, putting them outside his door, then leaving before he opens the door (masked). But we only started that today, so there's a chance I was infected yesterday or the day before. So we'll see what unfolds. If I'm symptom free in 48 hours time, I'll most likely be in the clear this time around: all my life, if I'm going to get something, I get it fast.

Anyway, fingers crossed - and thanks @MamaBee and @junebug17 for your kind wishes. ox
