Is there going to be a noticeable difference in size on a princess cut diamond when mounted between buying a stone around 1.00/1.05ct and a stone that's 1.20/1.25ct

All other things being equal, does it face up big enough to warrant the extra 1k + dollar price increase ?

what are the face up dimensions?

I know that I start to notice a difference in a RB when there is a .15 difference in dimensions.

For example Measurements 5.82x5.78x4.37 1.236 ct stone

Compared to Measurements 5.59x5.45x3.97. 1.023 ct stone

according to the link below it is a 10% face up difference. This way you can be the judge!

It's actually a great site because you can adjust finger size and dimension to see what it actually will look like. It also gives you top surface area and all kinds of other things. You should play around with it. its fun! :)

@london this link is sooo cool ! Thanks so much for posting it, very fun to play around with.

That is a great tool!

Yes, that's enough of a difference to justify an increase in price of 1k. It's definitely eye visible.

I've been looking at that difference lately. I can tell.

Looks like an outstanding choice to me! :appl:

Just gorgeous!

@iluvdiamonds another cool tool to get a better idea on a real hand thank you. I appreciate you taking the time.

You guys have all the best websites

Thank you Gypsy, and all others who have given me input on the stone as well.

The tips of princess are prone to breakage. Vee tips or bezel or partial bezel offers more protection. (Just saying.)
