Tan wrote me that he's feeling better and is working now. He still can't move his left arm though.

He decided to close gemburionline and concentrate all his efforts in odysseygem.

I'm confused though, what is the difference between the 2 sites? I've never really perceived a real difference. Why would he choose one over the other?

Tan is one of the nicest vendors I have ever dealt with, regardless of what people think of ebay, and he's super honest with me. I really wish him the best, and I'm just glad he's on the road to recovery.

I agree, TL, I think he offers tremendous value to people and is very professional.

I have found many ebay vendors to be perfectly fine, and I sell on ebay as well. I've always heard from my buyers that they are very happy. I always do my best for my customers and I feel that Tan is the same way.

I hope he somehow manages to recover use of his arm, poor guy.

Ditto to your ditto LD and TL...glad he is feeling better and whatever it takes to do that is great. If one store is easier than another then that's one lest I'll have to search through. I don't perceive the difference either, but there may be some business reason for it that we are not able to perceive.

Recovering from a stroke is hard work, hope he's able to get the physical therapy needed to get that arm back. We are rooting for you, Tan!

Glad to hear he's doing better too & hope he recovers quickly & fully. It is hard work to get function back from a stroke & my best wishes to him. I've only had one purchase from him but he was just lovely through it all.

I am glad that Tan is doing better and hope that he will slowly regain use of his left hand.
His business was running relatively smoothly while he was away so I wonder if they have simply split. Odysseygem always carried better stones and was smaller, so it is easier to browse it. I shall continue checking gemburionline too, though, sometimes I bought smaller but cheaper stones for small projects there. Anyhow, it is good that he is back, he was working hard to provide a supply of good stones and I hope this will continue.

I am facing the same problem.. I received an email on the 4th saying the stone was shipped. But tan has given me an invalid tracking number that does nor exist. I have been sending emails asking if there is an issue. Well I do not wish to wait and wait for a parcel that never arrive.. You know, it could be ship to another person? But there is no replies addressing my concern do farHas anyone encounter similar problems before? I am rather worried as it is quite expensive..I trust tan but was hoping for some affirmation

Is it a postal service tracking number, or DHL?

It is a registered mail and I do ask for a lower price on stones above $400.

It can take 24 to 48 hours for a tracking number to go live and then sometimes it never does! Don't panic though, I've had a number that have never been trackable but have still turned up! Here's a link you can try:-

The thing is that it wasn't a thailand tracking number! The tracking number I was given belong to my country! That means to say that it can only be possible if it was ship out from where I am.. Was it invalid because it was the wrong combination of numbers, or was it just a number that wasn't the right format for a tracking number? I've had tracking numbers that were invalid and didn't show up via the USPS postal site, but the package still arrived.

It is right format wrong combination and it is not a possible number as it is not the correct thailand format.I just have to continue waiting
