It got even more ho hum this year! I didn't think it was possible!

The coats I got last year are sitting in a paper bag in my closet in home A. I have a problem. I know. I've been shopping in my closet and garage for home B. It has been eye opening lolol.

I'm also doing stitch fix, and have been filling my closet in home B (for brothel) with a renewed love for j crew and its factory site, so I'm not as thirsty for shopping the sale as I've been in the past (in addition to the bleh selection)

Anyways, I still wracked up a $500 bill.

I know I have burgundy naturalizer boots, but I couldn't remember if I have black ones too. I played it safe and got the tan ones. The heel is a smidge higher than my other boots and I'm only gonna get shorter over time, right? I love how you can select width of calf AND width of foot. They always feel so comfy too.

My workplace recently relaxed its dress code. Now I can wear denim, so I should buy some right? I figured that these are the only boyfriend that are gonna get any ass from me.

@ame turned me on to wit and wisdom denim. The regular ones tend to run bigger, but the absolution jeans are supposed to run true to size. And god knows my abs need some absolution!

The camouflage is to help me hide at work when my boss comes looking for me.

Basic as **** slap on face moisturizer that I've used off and on for decades.
Something new to try.

I only got these since I had a $60 note. I needed new slippers but these look like I can use them for a run to the store too. I love Birks and most of mine are worn out.

I have been quiet about this year's sale because this year's selection SUUUUCKS. This year is the reason I will probably be closing my account with them--besides three or four straight failures with the website crashing, etc., the selection of stuff just...sucks. They've made it more hype than quality.

What I bought and what I think of it:

My main big order that had all my sweaters and some extra jeans (and some non-sale makeup) came yesterday. I returned all but the makeup and four pair of jeans. Every single sweater was a freaking cropped lookin bellyshirt thing--they should NOT have been so short. There's no way those models are 5'9" wearing that same thing because that was super disappointing! I REALLY wanted the JCrew Tippi sweater to work and it was SO short and ran SO small I gave up, all three sizes I bought were like shrinkwrapping a turd.

I also had to reorder one pair of my sale jeans bec they were hemmed WAY shorter than was marked. I already spoke with the manager who was trying to rescue the other two pair from the alterations folks so they don't ruin those too.

Basically all I am keeping are:

4 of Wit and Wisdom Itty Bitty Bootcut jeans (3 size 12 and 1 size 10)--Every year I buy a ton of these.

and if I can get the Olive Green Barefoot Dreams in Medium, I might order that. I have tried and gotten cancellations three times. I returned the Large bec the sleeves were ridiculously huge.

Material was a little fuzzier than I would've preferred, but I was kind of between two sizes in this, one was too snug, the other baggy in bad places, and neither was really long enough. They both stopped just at the top of my jeans---I don't know what is happening this year with all the tops but none of them are made longer than like 24" and that's basically a crop top. I am not remotely tall and I have no idea how someone taller than me would be able to not have their stomach hanging out!

This thing is like a big wide boxy tent--that is too short. That's the theme of this year's sale "everything is a damn croptop!"

The material was way fuzzier and "fluffier" than I anticipated. But again, a crop top on me. Not only that, it was HUGE in girth.

Again, ridiculously short. I loved these, and liked that they were thinner sweatshirt material but not quite tshirt. So bummed they were crop tops!

So disappointed this was so short. If it had 4" more it would be perfect.

That's it. Hopefully the stragglers that were shipped show up sooner rather than later of the above that I haven't gotten deliveries of but know they'll be returned (various sizes or colors of the same stuff above)

Almost identical, though I think they've gotten closer to their stated size...like this and last year I'd say go down one size, but previously I'd have said at least two. I bounce between a 10 and a 12 depending how fat I am each day, but I have some from when I was super fat a few years ago in a 14, and some down to a 4-6 from when I was super skinny a couple years ago. I am going to try to redye a few of the older pairs that I still wear
