I had such a wonderful time yesterday. It was so great to see everyone, it''s always so fun hanging out with all of you. AmberG and Mia, we''re going to miss you two! I hope you have a wonderful time in TX and So Cal, please be sure to stay in touch.

Neatfreak, I''m so excited you moved here! It was great seeing you and thanks for bringing all of your goodies. Your e-ring gave me some great ideas and I love, love, love that Dover band. I''ll let you know once the rental is ready so we can do a swap

I will write more later but... we had a BLAST!

First off... SO MUCH BLING. And GORGEOUS stuff. Davidson Licht let us run WILD in their store. And personally, I think they were entertained by us.

Everyone''s new bling, and potential new bling purchases were FABULOUS to share and see.

Second, lots of bonding time and just general "ladies day out'' stuff... popping into boutiques for last minute wardrobe changes and then interior decorating fun.

And a lovely lunch (even with the poor Mia''s lost screw back earring back).

I can not wait for the pics because DL let us take pics of some of their bling. Got to compare a 1.5 carat RA F VS1 to my Generic Asscher F VS1 and Asscher Girl''s G SI. And our diamond held their own. And while I loved the stop sign shape of the RA, the lack of contrast in the stone really didn''t have me falling head over heels.

Neatfreak and I were offered jobs at Tiffany''s. LOL. Holiday Help.... which would include an undisclosed discount.

Which we both determined our husbands would kill us for even considering... still, tempting JFF.

Overall... we met at 11 and disbanded at around 4. So we REALLY had a lot of fun and missed EVERYONE so much.

Can''t wait for the next GTG. Though AmberGretchen and Mia will be SORELY missed. We wish you both the best, and hope you keep in touch, and come back to visit.

I am at work and can''t post pictures until I get home, but I have to say that yesterday was a ton of fun, and I''m so glad I got the chance to say goodbye to AmberGretchen as well as meet Mia and Neatfreak! Mia, you are so sweet and I''m sad you are moving to So. Cal. If you come back up for a visit it would be fun to see you again! Neatfreak, it was so nice to finally meet my dress twin from WI, and I think you are even kinder in person than you are here on PS.

Asscher_girl, I told R all about your plans and he thinks a move to Maui sounds perfect, so maybe I can get him to start thinking about a trip out there in the next few years. You are always a delight and thank you for sharing your new bezel pendant with me...I already put the bug in R''s ear that I might like to do something like that with my loose stone, which I believe resulted in an eye roll and a shake of the head, as though maybe he hadn''t quite heard me right!

Thank you, Gypsy, for planning the day. I have to say it was a much easier trip for VR Beauty and me to come to Walnut Creek and not have to try to navigate through SF! It was so much fun in the jewelry stores and having a nice, leisurely lunch. The people at the restaurant couldn''t have been more accommodating and they tried so hard to help find Mia''s earring back!

I loved seeing all of VR Beauty''s new stones, and it was fun to see the combinations of stones with those lovely earring jackets Gypsy brought. How I missed the cushion cut stone I have no idea, but I have a feeling asscher_girl and I were in Maui mode while that was going on!

Thanks, ladies, for letting me join in even though I haven''t had much of a chance to be here on the boards lately, I do check in occasionally and think of you often. It was a fantastic day!

We wore coordinating outfits so we could get the perfect "Dancing Fire's Angels" photo... we waited as long as we could... but alas, we were ditched by Dancing Fire once again.

We took some pics... I suppose we could even post some pics.... but it would just be pics of gorgeous jewelry, diamonds, and colored gemstones, and y'all are probably sick to death of "just jewelry" shots by now.

But a people pic?

I think it would just be too heartbreaking to see yet another Norcal GTG group shot with a big hole where our friend Dancing Fire should be.

I had such a wonderful time at the GTG on Sunday! Thank you Gypsy for pulling it together and coming up with a game plan.

I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Davidson Licht. The sales staff there was gracious and accommodating, and the store had such an incredible inventory for us to check out. I fell in love with a pair of 24k Gurhan earrings with set a single rose cut diamond each. (Pearlman''s carries them too -- http://www.pearlmansjewelers.com/jewelry-designers/gurhan-jewelry/earrings/90GG2/42/) I probably won''t be springing for them anytime soon unless I win the lottery or something, but it was nice to try them on and dream a little. And, after seeing all the beatiful Van Craeynest jewelry here on Pricescope, I was thrilled to be able to see that incredible artistry in real life.

What can I say about lunch, but that it was such fun to hear (and see

) what''s going on in everyone''s lives. I suppose I could always visit a nice jewelry store, or drool over the beautiful thins shown here and on the vendors'' websites, but that just doesn''t compare to meeting some of the nice PS regulars in person!

Just wanted to post that pics are coming. But since poor AmberG has three weeks until a big cross country move, she's been a bit busy. And there were a LOT of pics. And you all know that getting pics loaded on here is time consuming. So they are coming. But understandably (though unfortunately) life takes precedence over PS sometimes, and this is one of those times.

And I have to say sorry for not posting any, but I am overwhelmed with the first week of school and doing everything I can to help my best friend''s wedding go off without a hitch this weekend. I can''t seem to get anything accomplished and am nowhere near done getting things together to be out of town all weekend and ready for Back-to-School Night on Wednesday, so I won''t be posting any until after this weekend.

Also, do asscher_girl, Gypsy and Mia mind if I post our lounging act at Crate & Barrel? If not, let me know and when I post, I''ll be sure to include that one to pacify DF!
