Hi Everyone I have been looking around pricescope for a couple days now and I finally decided to join and ask the questions I need some help with. Well ok

1.) http://www.whiteflash.com/hearts_arrows/Whiteflash-ACA-cut-diamond-1848249.htm this is the diamond I am looking at right now my budget is between 3,000-5,000 for diamond, and setting I figure I want the brightest, most beautiful looking diamond in my budget; do you think this would be a ideal one for me?

2.) With that said I am looking for setting we both looked at some at nearby jewelers and I really think she would like the trellis setting, and i was wondering if the round diamond looks good and this setting and if you guys have any other setting that I could possibly search for that would look just as nice.

Thank You in advance for your help everyone!

Hiya!

The stone looks really good, it''s hard to go wrong with an ACA. Many, many many people have trellis settings with round diamonds. They''re one of my favorites when done well, and I think WF does a nice job on theirs, I''ve seen their three-stone in person and it has nice flow and delicate prongs.

Thank you for your reply, it''s good to know the diamond i selected thus far is alright; I was wondering as well though is their a stark difference between the fire, and brilliance of a diamond to it''s scintillation (sparkle), because my main thing is I want a diamond to were it will make people''s head turn from it''s shine..etc..

Beautiful diamond!!!

They don''t get cut much better than what you picked, so check that off the list as done.

Their x-prong trellis setting is very pretty. The only thing I thought about was the width of the band, at 4mm. That will not make your stone "pop" and look big, if that was important to you. If not, then go for the it.

However, if that is important to you, I''d suggest this one instread. Simply gorgeous, and it will help the stone stand out.

Either way they are both beautiful settings!

That diamond looks wonderful! I don''t think you have anything to worry about when you go with an ACA.

I really like that Legato Setting from Whiteflash that you sent me Ellen, it''s very nice and the fact it would show off the diamond more actually is a plus! Anymore setting ideas would be greatly appreciated!
