Hi all. After performing an extensive amount of research and countless hours of perusing on this forum, I've finally decided to ask for help in making one of the biggest purchases of my adult life, the diamond engagement ring. I'm looking for a RB diamond, 1.5 ct. or greater, excellent to ideal cut, I color or better, and eye clean. I planned on setting it into a Mark Morrell Classic Torchiere.
I've spent a lot of time using the Pricescope diamond search tool, as well as looking at stones from Brian Gavin, James Allen, Blue Nile, and White Flash. At this point I'm limited to about $10K (+/- $500) to spend on the diamond. It's important I hit the 1.5 ct mark (the bigger the better) and keep an excellent cut. I have also played with the HCA in regards to multiple stones that I have been considering.
Here is one from BN:

However, the clouds in the plot bother me as I'm afraid it will affect light performance. Comments? Concerns?
Thank you all so much for your input. I'm glad I finally took the plunge and joined the community!
