Newbie Intro

Hi all-- I am a longtime on and off lurker, but a lifelong gemstone and jewelry enthusiast-- I also worked in NYC for a large diamond house for a few years, and a branded engagement ring designer, but now I work for an apparel and footwear manufacturer.

I wanted to say hello before I just started to jump in-- ask me anything?

Also, how the heck do I add an avatar image?

At the top of this screen click on your name.


Click on Edit.


Click on User Profile.



Towards the bottom click on Choose file.
Navigate to the file for your avatar.
Double click it or single click and click on Choose.
Click on Upload.
Then WAY at the bottom click on Submit.



I love PS but the processes for posting pics and simply uploading an Avatar are more complex and non-intuitive than ANY forum I've been on.
