I am very new to this forum and forums in general, so sorry if I do things a little wrong or different! I have been looking for a diamond for about a month now and it seems like Bluenile has the best deals. I couldn''t find much info on Bluenile as far as this forum goes. I have looked at Good Old Gold and Whiteflash and others, but Bluenile seems to have had the best deals. My first question is...

What are the thoughts on Bluenile?

This is what I am looking for, please help me find the best deal!
Oh and it is going into a the Jeff Cooper R3146

Shape: Princess
Carat: .95 to 1.1
Color: D to I
Clarity: IF to SI1

These are some that I found, let me know what you think...

Welcome!

BN are a good and reputable vendor, but they don't supply images such as ASET, Idealscope or photos which are essential IMO to choose a well cut Princess. Unfortunately we can't tell much by numbers to be able to judge the all important cut quality, however BN do have a good return policy in case you weren't happy with the diamond.

This one shows an example of great info on a Princess, photos, ASET etc,

Thanks for the info.

What is the significance of the Girdle?

mdice, I posted this one in your other thread last night...

$4011 ps price.

It is hard to judge BN princess unless you choose an AGS0. I looked last night and they had a couple, but this one got you a little more size and a chance to upgrade later if you want to.

The pointy parts of the princess are the ones most at risk for chipping, so you don''t want a girdle that is too thin in those areas. Having a vendor whose eyes you can trust can help you if there is a question on a specific area of a girdle.
