Do you bother with setting yourself some NY resolutions, for them to be broken within days into the near year?
My first and foremost is to manage my finances and live within my means, now that I have come out of a long dark tunnel that lasted over 4 years and learnt a very valuable lesson late in life, and shall not have another credit card unless it is a pre-paid one.
Next is to get out of the rut and find my intrinsic motivation again, in the form of a new job and work environment. Hopefully, I shall have the opportunities to travel and expand my knowledge and experience doing what I enjoy, and be able to help improve standards and compliance along the way. Plus the opportunities to wear my smarter work wardrobe and jewellery that has stayed in the dark in the past few years.
I shall make the most of my gym membership, as going to the gym worked for me in the past, in helping me to reduce stress as well as to strengthen my body. It also allows me to eat what I enjoy without having to worry about weight gain too much.
I shall be celebrating my 50th birthday in 2015, and shall do so with fun, joy and optimism, with a few presents to myself, including some blings.
Happy New Year in advance to everyone on PS!
