Hey fellow forum members!
I just purchased my first piece of tunsten jewelry and wanted to share the details!Ive wanted to add a ring to my collection ever since i sold the new Trent West Tunsten rings back in 2001 for about $300-$500 but they were to expensive for a non-precious metal ring .I found a faceted ring I wanted at the last jewelry store I worked at for about $200 and than on Overstock.com for about$38.00 with a retail of 179.99 a few weeks ago but my size was sold out before ordering...my best friend gave me a gift certificate to TJMAXX for Christmas and I was shopping there tonight and in a jewelry case was the exact ring from overstock.com for $19.99,and one left...in my size! The ring was tagged as being from www.Miamimetals.com for $90.00 retail...The ring is still on their website(faceted ring#rooo2t-000)...It been awhile since I splurged on jewelry so this ring is a great find...GOOD JEWELRY KARMA AT WORK!What does the forum think? Thanks for letting me tell you about my new find!

I can''t find the ring you''re talking about on the site..when I search for the style number or faceted, and I''m not sure which one it is under tungsten. Can you give us a link or add a picture? :) Thanks!

Also, I saw on that site that they have diamonds embedded in the band of the tungsten rings, but I just emailed a manufacterer of tungsten rings recently and she said that they''ve set stones in their bands with little success because drilling to set a stone reduces the strength and creates weakness in the band which could make it crack? Just interesting that there are 2 views on this, although, these rings that you''ve shown may be tungsten alloy rather than tungsten carbide?? I''m really curious now, because of a project I had wanted to work on for FIs WB. :)

We need a picture!

Yes, pictures please! My husband wants to change his band to tungsten.

That''s a great looking ring JM, I bet it is comfortable, it looks like it.

What a great ring! And, it''s even better because you got a great deal for it!!

ITS VERY COMFORTABLE!I havent taken it off since i got it!weighs 15 grams,so i have to get used to the weight...its strange to me that i dont have to worry about scratching it like other metals....all it needs is warm water to bring back its perfect sparkle...Went down to the store today and picked up the last one...this one was purchased by my best friends wife for his anniversary gift....found one just like it on www.tungstenworld.com under faceted bands and called the Pulsar...their cost...$179.00!I hope he likes it.

This site also has my style of ring...the myron...found under the faceted ring section and in most of their larger photos as well...

Beautiful find, Jewelerman! I love the inner curve, it looks so comfortable.

You''ve got to beg borrow or steal a camera or a new computer or whatever it is that keeps you from posting photos of your own jewelry. We want handshots!

That looks cool, Jewelerman and what a deal! My hubby has a tunsten ring that he loves too. It the one and only ring he hasn''t been able to scratch since he wears it 24/7.
