New Tourmaline mine in Afghanistan?

Hello everyone,

I''ve been off the computer for awhile. I wanted to know if anyone has heard of a new find of tourmaline in Afganistan? From what I''ve heard the tourmaline is a minty green indoors but blue outdoors. That seems strange to me since sunlight has more green than incandecent. From what I was told it is much nicer than the OYO tourmalines regularly seen on the net but then the price is up there also. I asked that my supplier send a picture and I will post it as soon as I receive it.

Hi Doug,

I just received a picture of a 7ct+ stone. This is an indoor shot. He said the color is better outdoors. It is a native step cut.
