Thank you, and yes i will post more pictures, just as soon as I learn more on how to. Most of my pics are to large and I have to make them smaller. A learning experience. Yes, that is Blue Sapphires.

There''s a great thread in FAQ titled "how to upload/reduce picures for posting" by belle. It''s very easy to reduce the pix with her method.

Hi and welcome! I need to go read that tutorial! For a while, I have done my method which is to save the picture from my camera to my desktop. Then open it and use the crop tools in my top toolbar to crop it down by the corners, and then I crop it by "size" to something like "large web page" size. Then I save it under another name on my desktop--then minus out to go tap it and see what kb it is--the goal being under 100. I do this silly routine of back and forth cropping til I get it the right size. Then upload it with my fingers crossed. Shows you what a dummy I am. Oh well, it works for me. Oh, and if you try to upload it and it doesn''t work, you will need to go and rename it again before you try to upload it again. Good luck! It really is fun to do--don''t let me scare you! I''m really a dork with this stuff.

Hey, thanks alot.

Wow.

Now I need to figure out how to take clearer images of my ring for posting. How do some of you get such beautiful pictures with the flashes of light and burst of colors? My pictures seem to be out of focus and don''t catch the light as it appears to the eyes.
