Thank you, thank you everyone for your very kind words on the ruby and the ring. I really do enjoy wearing it and really appreciate what I have because I know it was quite a find. The ruby has exactly three feathers/inclusions, that's how amazingly clean it is.
kt, I don't have the dimensions of the pears but the ruby is 1.56 ct and measures 8.19X5.99X3.39. I have been wanting to buy a caliper to measure for myself but, alas, haven't done so and completely forgot to ask my jewelry to measure them for me. I know the pears weigh .48 ct each... next time I visit my jeweler, I'll ask him to measure the pears.
