I bought this ring box last week and thought some of yall might want to see it. it pains me that it is a reproduction but it is well made. I see these boxes in antique shops and the velvet lining is most often gross and the hinges are wonky so I always pass. it's by twos company and it was $59.
The "antique" shops around here usually offer vintage (which most of the time just means used) goods or very poor condition antiques. I wish we had nice quaint antique shops here. Plus I am pickier about true antiques than I am diamonds (seek perfection! ) so I'm not always up for the hunt.
It looks awesome! I like it very much! I looked for a new jewelry box several months ago and found a wonderful handmade wooden one on https://hmwoodenfigurines.com/product/wooden-three-sections-box/. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture, but as I like things made of wooden, I'm glad that I've found it. Having seen your box, I've thought that I should check the "antique" shops. Thanks for sharing!
