I bought this ring box last week and thought some of yall might want to see it. it pains me that it is a reproduction but it is well made. I see these boxes in antique shops and the velvet lining is most often gross and the hinges are wonky so I always pass. it's by twos company and it was $59. 20170619_123238.jpg

It's beautiful ceg. I also love the antique powder jars in the picture.

I have seen originals frequently in antique and vintage shops.
They run less than that reproduction! Just use tape to clean the velvet lining.

The "antique" shops around here usually offer vintage (which most of the time just means used) goods or very poor condition antiques. I wish we had nice quaint antique shops here. Plus I am pickier about true antiques than I am diamonds (seek perfection! ) so I'm not always up for the hunt.

It looks awesome! I like it very much! I looked for a new jewelry box several months ago and found a wonderful handmade wooden one on https://hmwoodenfigurines.com/product/wooden-three-sections-box/. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture, but as I like things made of wooden, I'm glad that I've found it. Having seen your box, I've thought that I should check the "antique" shops. Thanks for sharing!

If anyone knows where to buy a jewelry case with a normal-size key, I'd appreciate it! I just lost the tiny one from the box.
