New Pink Tourmaline Ring and Pendant!

Hi All,

I was just in California visiting my brother and I purchased these items. I picked the stones and the settings. I love them. Not sure if they were great prices, but I didn't have time to worry about it.

Ring is a 5.39 ct. pink tourmaline with .25 ctw of diamonds G-H color SI1 - Paid $732

Pendant is 6 ct. pink tourmaline with .50 ctw of diamonds G-H colr SI1 - Paid $850

Opinions please! Did I pay too much??

It was in the Asian Market near LA and the guy said her was a "Wholesaler" LOL! I just liked the stones and settings so I went for it. I pray I didn't get ripped off.

Yes, And mine is eye clean and the color is a gorgeous pink! Nicest one I could find of about 50-60 stones to choose from. Very sparkly and I wore them both today with tons of compliments. The dealer told me he sells his stones for $100/ct. I feel better now. It was a snap decision but I do love the pieces. You know how it is...buyer's remorse. He said he will make me earrings and send them to me for my approval. Very nice gentleman. He told me I would pay much more retail, but not sure I believe that. Maybe in a mall jewelry store. Oh well, it was my vacation and I splurged. Gulp!

Not sure of quality but I know what I like when I see it. I picked out the stones from amongst many and he had many settings to choose from. He specializes in Tanzanite. It is in the Asian Market Mall.

Another. My goodness do I have freckles! Yikes! Should I make the chain shorter? It is 18" and I wear a diamond pendant on it. I was thinking of having it made into a 17" chain. What do you think???
