New necklace from my husband!

Check out the new necklace my hubby gave me this weekend. We have been married for a year and a half... but this weekend was our 9 year anniversary of when we first started dating. We were 16 years old back then!

The necklace has one gold bead for every year we have been together... and he bought lots more beads so we can keep adding on year after year! (I took this photo before he slid on the 9th bead to symbolize this year)

I''ve seen the add a pearl necklaces, but never gold beads, how lovely and so romantic

I really like the gold bead look....sold many of em when they became popular again in the mid 80s...the full strands of beads that were popular in the early 1800s are also really beautiful...hint...remember to take these beads off when you nap or sleep because they are hollow ware and will dent or fold when pressure is applied.I like this look with turquiose or lapis beads mixed in with the beads!
