Hi all :wavey:I don’t post often but I am a long time pricescope admirer! I do not squire jewelry too often (I’m pretty minimalist with only a few key pieces) but I have a few new pieces to show!

First up - my 40th birthday gift from DH! A beautiful 31mm date just, silver dial. It took a while to be able to order this from an AD given the shortage but it was worth the wait! In case anyone is interested, the Rolex diamonds are stunning - bright and sparkly in all lighting.

Next is a simple Diamond by yard style necklace. I was given the Diamond many years ago - it was a family piece on my husbands side. It’s about 1/2 carat but slightly deep old cut of some sort. Color is warm..maybe an N.FAB4B308-BDF1-4391-81B9-83D2671F10B1.jpeg

Best for last! My beloved grandmother passed recently and left each granddaughter a lovely piece of her jewelry. I reset them from drop studs - the drops were beautiful but I can’t wear anything dangling from my ears. I debated over the setting (martini vs basket) - Like the martini but was worried about them stretching my piercing. then my jeweler showed me a “low profile” wire basket setting and I chose that! It’s hard to see but it sits low to my ear. Love them! My prior studs are about 70pts each (Brian Gavin recuts) and I was honestly shocked at how much bigger these look. Still getting used to them, I think these diamonds are now as big as I’d ever go in my ears.

Diamonds are certified as 1.0 ct each, D, SI ideal cut however they are EGL. My jeweler said they are likely F SI2 by GIA (mostly eye clean except one spot when I hold it 2 inches from my nose) He agrees with the “ideal cut” and I do too - the cut is stunning. They sparkle like crazy.

Thank you!

Thanks! The stone is slightly shallow (I think around 62% depth) - it faces up closer to a 2.5 so looks a bit larger than its weight

Just beautiful!!

Sure! Here’s a few more. The earrings are so hard to photograph. They also seem to be photographing small on my ears but they seem huge in person. I’m sure I’ll get used to them!

There’s no such thing as ”huge”
I love them all as they are timeless and elegant in their design.
Thanks so much for the lovely photos. Enjoy in health and blingy joy!

They are photographing beautifully!

Thanks! Looking forward to wearing them. If this helps anyone here’s a size difference on the 1ct vs 70pt stones (I would obv never wear like this).

Thanks!!

Lol this was just for show. I need much smaller in the 2nd holes as they touch/rub like this. They would scratch each other.

I never wear my second holes anymore but I have been thinking about adding baby studs - I think it’s been about 20 years since I’ve worn earrings in them.

A few years ago I tried to see if they were still open. One was and remains open, the earring goes in easy, but the other ear I can only get an earring like 2/3 of the way thru…

I guess I’d have to repierce it? I don’t know I have it in me to shove it through the other 1/3

Love your new staple pieces. They are perfect for everyday. Your Rolex is absolutely stunning. Wondering about what size wrist you have as daughter and I are contemplating face mm sizes for our future purchases. Thanks so much! Enjoy your new beauties and thank you for sharing.

Thank you!!

The watch is a show stopper for sure. But I do think the all silver/monochrome look tones it down enough for everyday wear. It’s a bit surreal to be wearing it. A “Rolex for my 40th” has been something I’ve said and worked toward since I was 25!

My wrist is fairly petite I think - it’s about 5.7 inches. I did try on a 36 too but it was wayyy too big. I liked seeing a little bit of the bracelet (the jubilee is beautiful) and the 36 was all face on my wrist, no bracelet. It was also heavy. On me the 31 was the perfect size.

Here’s further away. 61966197-87E4-41EB-8905-09C43D8E1A60.jpeg6036B54E-2046-41F6-BE7F-0B4DB62BC928.jpeg

Thank you so much! That helps because I love this size on you!! *off to measure wrist*
Congratulations on attaining your Rolex goal at 40!!

All beautiful! I have to admit I don't really "get" watches but that sparkly rolex sure does look more like jewelry than just a watch! And how wonderful to have so many heirloom diamonds you can wear. Those earrings are the perfect size for you and I love the pendant.
